In team games you meat assgrens every match. They are dangerous and if another member go with MG42 behind, they rape conscripts easy. On other side, i have no problem deal with this, if mate support me with maxim also.
Not main infantry, but as alternative opening are good.


I was actually talking about their grenade ability, the one where I pay 45mun to halt their DPS and make the enemy breakdance and maybe kill one, then continue shooting with MP 40's because it did jack-all to change the outcome of the fight.

Agreed. Instead, why don't we buff something that actually needs buffing, like the Stug E?

The reason why this doctrine sucks is because it has a gimmicky clown car and an utterly useless paper tank taking up two ability slots, not that Assault Grenadiers are weak (although I suppose an upgrade for 30 munitions for the one Panzergrenadier model to have an Stg44 could make them slightly more useful past early game and make it more interesting).

Any more to that suggestion and I would've gotten 20+ flame posts on my ass guaranteed.

Besides, don't want to make PGrens useless for that doctrine.

I have no problems making 320mp assault grenadiers effective.

They only become bad when you spam them because they don't scale too well in the later stages of the game. Just 2 squads is enough for early aggressive play. After that you get grenadiers and support weapons for a more stable mid-late game.

they are fine the way they are. keep in mind that theyre a close range 1,5 armor 0cp no building unit,making them already a little out of place imo

Yes they are fine. Really good to give you an advantage early game with 2 or 3 of them.
