Wehr Grens lose every engagement.
Why would I build them?
Definitely not to convert them into a 430 mp (270 mp + 160 mp) Jäger.
Currently you shoot yourself into the foot building a Gren.

Relic hates Nazis, so why make a WWII game?
If you want a balanced game, give each army equivalent infantry (same strength and cost) and equivalent tanks (same strength and cost). Balanced game.

The only solution is to spam the MGs and do a Stug e, and after a marder (which has light armor) ...it's infinitely more complicated than just spamming the infantry, the stuart and then the sherman.
I forgot to say that the Panzer 3 is countered by the British sections with their anti-tank equipment and that the Tiger costs 230 fuel
and the fucking british grenade, 50 meter range and insane damage

I don't even feel the bleed with them and if you went indian arty and got infantry 1st perk, you have osttruppen level of reinforcement with obersoldaten level of lethality.

Give them MP40 upgrade and problem solved. Also there is this Merge ability and only 22mp reinforce cost
They do have MP40 upgrade from BG and it makes them into beasts.

I kinda get the concept of grens being just purely a meat-shield before you transfer them into PGs\Jaegers but this concept is honestly dumb, it was bad for soviets already.
Would rather see them as a cons, via vet, where they start off being weaker, but with vet becoming actually useful units. I still feel like, grens should be viable and at least some sort of threat and not complete push-over.

I feel like Grens are fine. They are not really good, but have a bit of utility and are good backup for a powerful MG. Don't want CoH2 levels back where MG would pin everything and Grens destroy every other mainline infantry. At least you can transform them into better units later.
DAK Pgrens on the other hand, holy crap, they are in a really bad spot..
once dak pgrens are near most vehicles and get their mg + the 200mp vet and health upgrade, they get really good
but it costs a lot to get to that stage

Who build Rifles? There is a 200MP squad perform much better than Rifles.

once dak pgrens are near most vehicles and get their mg + the 200mp vet and health upgrade, they get really good
but it costs a lot to get to that stage
I've been having a lot more success with DAK pgrens in 1v1 when I build a 250 as like my 3rd or 4th unit to get the combined arms bonus. The bonus is ridiculous and the 250 isn't bad support in the early game too, and has a heal ability for when you don't have heals yet.
