The OKW Battlegroup has been split into two parts. This will allow OKW to have an easier time backteching to medics or indirect-fire if they went Mechanized or for faster access to HMGs. Prices have been adjusted on all upgrade items available in the Battlegroup Headquarters.

Do you mean with the new BG HQ ? if yes, i feel that the new tech options provided to it are very strange since you need the 100 MP 20 fuel one to actually get fausts, MG34 and STGs to your volks, when before you just had to build it.
And unless my math is wrong you need more fuel now to get these things since before:15(for the car)+ 25(for the HQ)=40 fuel and now: 15(for the car)+10(for the HQ)+20(for the tech)=45 fuel which is the same price as the other HQ(+15 for the car) which provides fausts, MG34 and STGs to your volks without any further tech.

The cost went up a bit to facilitate better backteching to medics. In practise however Faust/upgrade timing shouldn't be affected or may be even better because now you get to build the tech in multiple cheaper stages so you can get them online faster.
You don't have to wait for all 25 fuel to start converting the HQ, you can now start converting it at 10 fuel and have it set itself up while accumulating the additional 20 fuel for the upgrade, likely resulting in an equal or even faster timing for the complete upgrade (unless you have very bad map control for the additional 5 fuel) compared to before. Though I haven't tested/timed this.
The HMG unlock is bugged, it's supposed to unlock at the basic BGHQ so 15 fuel faster than before. Will be fixed.

Are sure about the timing? Because you need to stop unit production to produce the Truck earlier...

Maybe it's 'cause the Axis players aren't a bunch of forum crybabies, and they keep their cool and fight the uphill battle, unlike some of their "allied" counterparts.

Volks are broken. Their stock damage output rivals even that of unupgraded conscripts and they only cost 20 more mp.

I am sorry, but so what? what squad of base infantary does not have more damage output than unapgraded conscripts(maybe the panzerfusiliers)? And as you said they cost 20 more,1 model less and more reinforce costs.

The cause was toned down, not removed.

The whole situation just seems weird, mechanized is already less popular needs more gas to put down which then allows access to mg and faust. Speeding up the availability of both mg/faust would literally kill of mechanized as a 1st tech option.
