I wouldn't call it "guaranteed", unless I'm unluckiest player ever as all my attempts at using it on rammed tiger ended up with tiger limping away(and yes, I have seen the one single clip when it did took down full health rammed tiger).
Maybe it's 'cause the Axis players aren't a bunch of forum crybabies, and they keep their cool and fight the uphill battle, unlike some of their "allied" counterparts.

Permanently BannedI have been playing this game for 6 years and although my highest rank is 346 as soviets in 4v4 I am more than certain it's not an easy ability to use, it requires correct positioning and timing to be utilized correctly. - signed by katitof

for me prodigy just showed his superior skill and very good usage of this ability that allowed him to kill the tiger, normally it doesnt work that easy, that was actually very lucky that he got perfect timing and positioning to use IL2
btw for me it is also way too expensive for what it offers. you need to waste 300mp 90 fuel and 100munnies... WAY TOO EXPENSIVE, i think cost should be down only to 50 munnies, and the plane arrival takes too long also

That's the clip I've mentioned and no, I was not joking, had a game last week where that one tiger just wouldn't go down.
In hindsight, it could've been TA, can't remember for sure.
