UKF nerfs when

2. tommies doing extra dps in cover is flat out dumb. what sort of bs makes someones bullets hit harder from cover? also tommies should NOT be able to build cover. cover = self dps buff
3. 17 pounder doing too much damage. in what world do brits have weapon superiority over germans? feels historically inaccurate
4. bofors stupid amount of anti tank dps + suppress infantry. how can a crappy aa gun damage tanks and how is it fair to press 1 button and suddenly take no damage

Everything you mentioned was nerfed recently to long time ago.

2. They have no engies to build cover for them. Try to use positioning and elite inf to get early wipes. Remember they rely on cover to they are very weak to flamethrowers.
3&4. Emplacements are not generally an issue in 1v1. For teamgames spot with pioneers and fire at them with paks.

1. early bren/flame carrier counters mg42 too hard with no counterplay since wehr needs t1 to build paks
2. tommies doing extra dps in cover is flat out dumb. what sort of bs makes someones bullets hit harder from cover? also tommies should NOT be able to build cover. cover = self dps buff

1. UC nefted about 2 patch ago and now die to rifle shoot. Meanwhile ost have Faust on event gren squad and pgren can be built from T0, with 2 shreck they basically delete UC.
2. Bullet dont hit harder from cover, the squad shoot faster in cover and it is their original dpf since they have out of cover penalty. May be you want to learn about game mechanic before talking.
3. Historically, the 17pdr can tear apart anything the german have, it is a superior AT gun, do your homework.
4. That crappy AA gun is considered the best AA gun of the war and it shoot a fucking 40mm round, a 40mm round being able to deals some dmg to vehicle is obvious. The bofor was basically soft removed from the game in summer patch and they have to add suppression to prevent a volk squad to walk up and toss a flame nade in it face.

This is the consequence of sleeping in history class and learn through movies.
Nobody have completely superior, the Germany have some fancy stuff but the brit have their own, too, and the fact is the brit is superior in many critical field.

is 'update your game' the only advice youre capable of giving? maybe you should replace your eyes cos clearly theres something wrong with them
No, the actual advise here is L2P, because again, everything you mentioned was nerfed hard already.
If you still have problem with any of it, you're a bad player.

1. While the UC is quite effective early on (one of the few units keeping UKF relevant), the MG42 does just fine at forcing it away if you keep it supported by Grenadiers. Your Grenadiers have fausts with longer range than the snares of other factions and are unlocked at the start of the game. All your AT options come quite early like the 222 and Panzergrenadiers with Schrecks, so the UC only has a short timeframe where it can do damage without being in much danger.
2. It's the other way around, Tommies have a received accuracy and dps debuff out of cover. You can exploit this in many ways:
- Get infantry that's strong up close like Assgrens, Pgrens, G43 Grens or Storms. Cover gets negated at close range and Sections don't have good short range dps. Sections can't reposition without taking allot of damage because of the received accuracy debuff out of cover.
- Mortars and flamethrowers can punish the use of cover heavily.
- Early vehicles like the 222 and 250 can force away the snareless sections and still do high damage to them on retreat (RA debuff out of cover still applies on retreat). Be wary of the AEC ofcourse.
3 & 4. Emplacements are not really a valid strategy at the higher levels, especially since the Bofors got nerfed last patch. At most you'Il see a single mortar pit. Best idea would be to post a replay where you struggle against emplacement heavy play at www.coh2.org/replay to get tips on how to counter it. Here's a few keypoints:
- If your opponent goes for Bofors he can't get an AEC, they're mutually exclusive. This means any light vehicle you get will be safe to harass the flanks which the Bofors can't cover.
- The best way to deal damage to emplacements early on is by getting double AT guns. Keep them well defended by your main force, find a way to spot for them (storms/sniper/222 on hold fire) so they can fire at long range and make sure you're able to recrew them if they get shot by mortars. AT guns will take down emplacements fast even if braced

What kind of category do you belong to? Troll or rank 1000+ axis-only player?

My money is on the latter. Trolls usually have more questionable names.
As for the rest----> Move to scrap yard please.

3. 17 pounder doing too much damage. in what world do brits have weapon superiority over germans? feels historically inaccurate
oooooohhhhhhhh boiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii
did someone just mention historical accuracy?
Ok, sure. But allies get air superiority loiter which covers the entire map from the beginning of the match.
Shermans adjusted to 10 fuel.
Conscripts adjusted to 20mp
etc etc
You see? Historical accuracy is a rabbit hole that is NOT worth venturing down as it will be a race to the bottom.
It's a game. They have to balance the factions. Although UKF is currently the weakest faction so.....do better?

it is true that the 17pdr is BS strong since it is nondoc, has brace, has flares and can shot through shotblockers with some muni...it is a better pak43 which need no doc
That's why it's built in all levels of competitive play right?

Meanwhile 17 pounder requires fuel and requires micro and munitions to use the piercing shots otherwise if you place it behind a shotblocker its 100% useless waste of popcap and resources. But yeah you're 100% right at least on flares, totes OP plznerf

it's a decent unit but a one trick pony. When the enemy realises it's there they usually have minutes before indirect fire (of which the UKF struggles to counter) kills it off.
Also, the 17pdr is attached to the UKF faction. Which is a nerf in itself.

Being a 1000+ player when playing Ost, I'm pretty sure he's more of a 6000+ player. The axis-only is spot on.

same as Pak 43 and we did saw it very rarely at tournament

the thing is: you dont need to build it behind shotblockers. it can hold the ground much better than a pak43 and have his friends bofors and motor emplacments and other strong UKF stuff.
UKF has pretter good AI and has a massive AT unit with the nondoc pak43. it even turn the gun alone by the crew..u dont even need to micro it...so lol
