Really nice coverage of gamescom guys, well done! I don't typically play single player modes in rts' but I did enjoy DOW2 and the vCOH campaigns, if its anything along those lines i'll probably drop the dough to support relic and see what its all about.

Great stuff, Relic and Milka. Thanks to Relic for inviting coh2.org to take part in this sneak peak at gamescom 2014 and huge thanks to Milka for delivering such a well-written review of the event. Your writing style is very uninhibited and I felt like I was there while reading it. Excellent work.
I'm excited for everything... single-player campaign with tons of missions, obsmode (!!), and a huge #ESPORTS deal with ESL. It does indeed feel like Christmas in August for Company of Heroes 2.

Thank you! Since I just saw one mission I can't be certain, but it definitely seems like the battles are connected by a story as well as these mechanics. I personally did not like the CoH2 campaign - neither the story, nor that basically all missions were something entirely different, nor the gameplay. Yet this looks better, especially considering that it's still early in development.

All I can say is that Quinn recently stated that they are currently Alpha testing modding tools.

Thank you and yea, those new releases were awesome. Next year / event, have a booth and SHOW people the game. CoH2 looks and sounds superb, but there is close to no information on it. Having it shown on a huge screen at such an event will certainly drag in some people. It's easy to understand (tank = big b00m!) and it's awesome to watch.

looks promising'm waiting for more videos about the missions seems that the sp will have a new system will be great to see some progress can not wait the campaing of Russians was a little disappointed
