JU 87 is better on paper, even for the fact that it damages infantry, but I think the rocket strike is fine as it is. And yes, the stuka does not have to worry about AA 100% guaranteed to be on the field.
I've said this before, but the "Early game" is too short versus what the rest of the game consists of, especially in team games, exponentially so, for this early vs late game balancing nonsense. it's a terrible idea and it should go away for the most part.
I would argue that isn't only that way in USF vs Axis due to weaker late game in USF, however just like in vCOH Wehr/USA matchup the Wehr had a clear, demonstrable advantage in late games in that their veteran I only to greater and all new units were elite off the bat. USA had to preserve vet units
but USA also had calliopes, pershings, ranger and airborne AT squads
and basic things, like sandbags, mortars and snipers.
when e-zy gets the KT out, around 30min, all he does is do minimal damage, take a shit ton of damage and get out. yet it is almost 75% towards its first vet. when it goes in the second time, it soaks up more damage with its ridunculous armor and health and gets vet 1.
i think heavies shouldnt get vet from soaking up damage or at least the vet value they get from taking damage should be reduced by half at least.
The fact that there is no true side armor in this game exacerbates this problem.
This was a MAJOR oversight, if not lazy game design decision. This should have been in the game hand's down. The excuse they made for not having it is nonsense.
not all autocannons work the same; the boffers 40mm uses stripper clips. modern autocannons/chainguns do use belt feed because it's more efficient.
the 222 is really shitty though. by the time it comes out hard counters area available to all factions and it has meh surviveability even against small arms. the M20 has similar issues but is fully independent because of the crew repair.
exactly on both points. I've seen the 222 used really well in 1v1s but the m20 lasts longer typically.
However, you do need munitions for the m20 armor skirts and the smoke discharger. On the flipside, the 222 upgrades its gun instead of survivability.
Sure it can. Maybe the RPM on the gun was lowered because it's an armored car and not a tank and the mount cannot handle recoil as well. Also, you don't think a larger turret and chassis results in faster reloading too? It certainly does.
Honestly, I can keep making up semi-bullshit stuff all day, but this is the way relic balances and that's that...
