As OKW simply use Sturmpio Vet 1 ability and drop medical supplies on the ground for instant healing.
Medic crates are not Vet 1, they're stock. Unless you suggest abusing stun grenades for whatever reason. |

It's not quite that easy. OKW loses if they don't have momentum because their starting infantry gets worse comparatively to their opponents as time passes. The best advice is probably to push aggressively at the 6-8 minute powerspike when Volks unlock StGs, your HQ unlocks MG34s, and your light vehicles start to come out. |

Ive recently played a few games and have countered blobs quite easily
Sov T1 buff and the Vickers K rework + raid sections. As an OKW main it's just not fun because there's not many good options to counter blobs late game (unlike Wehr which still has the Brummy and Pwerfer).
I should mention I haven't played a serious 1v1 since the Winter update dropped so I may be out of the loop. |
I think the HMG manual reload & HMG formation changes made it piss easy to use them against blobs, so I rly cant see how the amount of blobs should have spiked now suddenly because of a vet 2 ten second timer nerf on rocket arty as Xenarra suspects
Personally I did not notice an increase of blobs
I've mostly noticed it from Sov T1 and British sections/raid sections. USF seems to be the same as pre-patch really. |
Frankly the only annoying thing about OKW medics is literally how long it takes to get them. The combination of sWs, BG set up, and then the medic upgrade itself takes a really long time. |
I don't think it matters now sire.
Whenever I play OKW, I see US 3 rifleman blob or Soviet's 3 Penals blob or Infantry Section 3 blob.
Whenever I play USF, I see 3-4 Volks blob.
They melt MG like a rear echelon, pioneer. LOL

Yeah, the combined Commander Patch and Winter Patch have killed all the fun out of 1v1s. Just play Wehr, it's the only faction that plays normally right now. |

It shouldn't be working as intended. It's a 1 click force retreat button across the entire map, and you see it in every game mode now. AT least you can shoot down the AT loiters, my Flak HT won't do shit against HTL. |

Yes. I wouldn't be complaining about blobbing and the clown car so much if it wasn't about 1v1s only. 1v1 used to be the only game mode where you didn't see blobbing everywhere but now everybody I've seen blobs all the time (surprisingly USF blobs the least now from my experience). |
It doesnt come too late if you go battlegroup imo. You dont need any of the bghq upgrades for it, just the structure
If you go a standard 4x Volks/Fusiliers start you're going to be hard pressed for manpower because Penals are brutal. If you only get 3 mainlines its a question of whether or not you can hold (and its not in your favor). Frankly the only thing that can get you out of the chokehold is a Flak HT rush. |
The mg34 is great against penals what are you talkin about? No smoke, no hoorah, satchel is short range, and t1 means no mortar
If you had any games as soviets you would realize how much worse their MG is
A blob can melt it if it has no support, but that happen to every MG in the game
I didn't mean Penal blobs specifically, any blob can shut down MGs if big enough. Also the MG34 arrives too late in 1v1 for it to matter because by the 7 minute mark if you fucked up as OKW versus Soviets you already lost. |
