Agreed. It's previous ability to accelerate to top speed quickly and ignore mud and deep snow movement penalties was far from useless as secure mode for IS2. Is it confirmed that blitzkrieg was buffed while the soviet light vehicles' Overdrive remained nerfed? |

Fact is, for 180 munitions, you can blow up any OKW truck, possibly two, and then some. If you don't think that a single ability destroying a tier of tech isn't broken, you're an idiot.
Factually speaking, you could do that with 2-3 satchels (120-180MU) from penals. But then again, all the arty callins for the WFA factions need reexamining. |
The callin artillery abilities for both new factions need looking into. Zeroing artillery for the OKW fortification doctrine can last for for a good while and can wipe out clumped bases if given the LOS and chance. |

Assault rifle profile or not, the BAR is officially an LMG in the US Army. Which makes it droppable fine in my book. If it wasnt a designated LMG and officially an AR, im sure people would be thrilled that Relic wouldnt make it droppabale. If the LMG34 was an STG44 or MP40, yes it would be fine if it wasn't droppable. But its not. |
Broken in the same way Conscripts picking up a Sniper's G43 would be broken. Or Volksgrenadiers picking up the Captain's Thompson would be broken.
Except there's no precedent of "carbines," SMGs, or assault rifles ever dropping in the game ever. |
I did not play alot of wehr yet . i thought the animation gets cancled . because on Füsiliers the missile sometimes gets stuck . had that happen a couple of times.
IMO the new US/OKW AT rifle grenades are better designed than the vanilla faust/at nade. They have longer animations, and have a max range at hitting the target. The vCOH factions don't and need looking at. |
I haven't defended the KV8, but at speed 5.1...it's slower than the Brumbar, jagdpanzer, and SU85. It's marginally faster than a KV2 and about the same speed as an IS2, which are heavy tanks as well. Why are we arguing about facts now? |
Typical usage of the KV8:
1) Get KV8
2) Cause all enemyInfantry to retreat in horror
3) Squad wipe any infantry unlucky enough to be caught on retreat
4) Drive up to any PAKS and instaburn them
5) Drive up to enemy base and burn all infantry units in the base
6) Get destroyed or return, doesn't matter; it's gg anyway
That's not really how a unit is meant to be used. Just because it doesn't ridiculously overperform like you're used to, doesn't make it overnerfed. The unit has been broken since release.
Faust/Fusilier's AT grenade, disable its engines. Make a slow tank even slower. Wheel in some Paks or Puppchens. Profit? Or use the old fashion Tank as counter strat. There's no way even an infantry blob (especially with grens) won't be able to get 1 or two faust off before a retreat. Not saying the KV-8 was overnerfed, but there are several effective counters against that unit. |
