Though Soviets did have a lot of gear and designed many tanks (though many got outdated fast). But there are still many decent tanks that are worthy for the game. The current Soviet faction is rather stereotypical, and frankly, badly designed. There is always the possibility of another Soviet faction with different gear. In: Lobby

They will have fewer units, but the focus on map control will be restored and the focus on unit preservation will be higher than ever. I suspect a lot of flack incoming. But Relic would need to fix a lot of one-shotting mechanics so precious vet doesnt vanish at a click of a button. In: COH2 Balance

Hummel/Wespe, nebelwerfer, flak 88, panzer III, and perhaps a Jagdpanther all somewhere. Su-100, and perhaps some other tanks such as KV-85 and SU-122 for Soviets. In: Lobby

Just some idiots shooting around? Conscripts. But those have AT nades at least... But then again, volksgrenadiers are volksgrenadiers - cheapest mainline infantry still has best vet; ive seen good use of basic volks as well. OKW AT can be developed properly without the cheap mainline infantry being the AT (so other areas would be improved) But that still is an ignorant question given that other basic infantry does well without AT weapons and not everything without an LMG is crap. The value of a squad that doesnt burn manpower income is undermined, given that all other OKW infantry are pretty expensive to reinforce. In: COH2 Balance

I would like to think that that acknowledges the Soviet faction as a badly designed faction. If some units apparently have to be bad because others are good, then they would have never put there in the first place or should be removed... To save us all the trouble of bothering they exist. I would like it if all handheld AT weapons provided 0 xp for the infantry squad holding it. So no spontaneous vet 5 volks. Shouldnt affect panzergrenadiers that much. Also a r43 regardless... Thread: Whats wrong with coh 21 Dec 2014, 22:17 PM Well, you could counter the blob beforehand by blobbing your rifles so the enemy would complain about rifle blobbing instead of you complaining about them blobbing. And so, most people decide to do just that and shove everything together and eat any straggling enemies. The biggest blob wins. Ive seen it with my own eyes... In: COH2 Balance
