IS1 is good option, but personally i believe, too good one, it would be better to replace it with KV-85. |
It's not that mods are some kind of gestapo or something here, they just hate you personally Kappa
And on a serious note: if you're new try to watch the forum before you start creating 3 threads a day, just to know the things that are worth the whole thread and those that belong to shoutbox or even should stay in your mind and not get wider audience. |
Qma, really? Why all that hate? Peter is, as it was said, responsible for the ballance, and that is what the quotation you made applies to (by some people ofc). The matchmaker is mostly ok as you cannot do much here, elo system is much older than the game itself. The problem is that there is not enough players for it to work properly and you can blame sega pricing for it or the fact that the game is much more difficult than 95 percent of modern games. |
The game doesn't show replays that are from different version of the game than you already have. |
I like the changes, especially the faster responsivness and isu/jagt, as those promote good players and interface overlay upgrade as it just looks better right now.
What I don't like is that the beta doesn't use your current account (like your factions, bulletins, skins and so on, because: why not?)
And btw the custom game screen allows to choose a mod, does it mean that the beta is modable? |
No one has ever beaten the Maxim and the Vickers for sustained, reliable firepower.
Given ammo, water (Snow, Urine, etc) and spare barrels and they will fire more or less for ever.
Subsequent improvement to MGs has been to make them lighter, more portable and boost cyclic rate; but if anything they are less powerful
If you want me to hold a fortified position, I will take a Maxim or a Vickers
If I have to carry the damn thing around, then it's an MG 42
True, germans thought the same way and that's why they used the maxims that were produced before intorducing MG34 on static fortified positions (not those that had to be able to be moved to the second line in hurry). So why allies mostly faced mg42's, even in the heavy bunkers of normandy? Just because it was the cheapest of the three and germans wanted maximum firepower at one moment, knowing the enemy usually comes in waves, giving some time to change the barrel. |
It's a feature, Romeo. Plenty of people were saying Maxims were OP, now they're not!
All hail our glorious Relic overlords.
If they let soldiers retreat by climbing over fences it would also promote infantry over support weapons. That way they can repair 2 bugs without changing the ballance.
It would be also nice if they implemented additional hotkey that will show actuall retreat path of a squad on the map or minimap. Why? Because I've seen even best players raging when they pressed the retreat hotkey after soft retreating to get better retreat path and even then squad taken the old, bad route. |
There is actually no rts where it's enough to play tutorial to play the game, the tutorial is prepared to give you enough abilities to play the first mission of the campaign, then you learn step by step in every single mission and after all you play some comp stomps and do that one big step to dive into multi, it's designed that way and it works that way. Coh and Coh2 are not exeptions of course but I have never seen an rts with different learning system. It's just not enough to go through tutorial. |
T70 is good in killing Luchs tanks but you have to remember that it has to fight it with its frontal armour, rear armour of t70 is so weak it can be quite easily killed even by 222. |
It's a minor bug but when you turn off the 'window always on top' option in settings the behaviour of the program doesn't change until you restart it. Btw it's a great tool. |
