I wouldnt say its making cons worse in AI. In fact they gain a buff to pure dps. Problem is that they need to stop to shoot ptrs, just like they would with lmg. So they suck on approach. Once they close the distance ptrs is like shotgun. It needs further testing but I belive they should work well if you use lots of urah ability. Long, also called attack move, range is simply not optimal for them since the changes. |
because the last time you saw a riegel is 2013.
Not really, I had a phase of using storm doctrine as counter to last edition of call in meta and 10 minute shermans. Riegel + possibility of stuka bomb were great as flank counters. The ht could flame and reinforce at the same time. And double mg42 in cloak were unflankable if well positioned. Did wonders, especially on crossing in 1v1. Then patches came Kappa |
Riegel always did less damage.
Instead it has 100% to immobilize.
Are you sure its 100% immobilize? There is a number 70% somewhere inside my head. |
There once was a bug that tanks could drive over the mines but the following explosion did no damage what so ever - has this bug been solved?
It still exists but it is mainly a teller bug. Havent seen it happening to riegel. |
M20 got exactly same sight bonuses, cost half as much fuel, is easier to vet up, puts down mines and arrives earlier.
Why greyhound again?
Anyway, I had a dream.
In that dream the PERFECT faction was born.
Relic emergency force:
Main infantry:
Penals.
AT inf squad:
PTRS cons, but PTRS are too damn good to be a stock weapon, so lets put it doctrinally only in shitty one dimensional no-late game doc.
HMG: MG34
AT gun: M-42
Early game indirect fire: Fighting position rifle nade(lets say CEs use them, RETs scale way to good to be here)
Light vehicles:
Greyhound
WC51
250
And non up gradable USF M3.
Medium armor:
Well, T34/76 obviously!
And for AI I'll go with Brummbar.
Heavy tank:
KV-2
Indirect fire:
Sexton, there was no alternative here.
Now tell me, who wouldn't want to play with that faction?
Squeeze a scott in there. And some assgrens. |
Pfusis have always been the best. They are like riflemen but better in every way. Problem is that there is not much more the commander has to offer. Unless you are in 4v4 and need jagdtiger ofc. |
As if Maxim players would waste MP on conscripts
Well, maxim spam without support from any other unit is very easy to counter. Its not that you can just build 10 maxims, attack move them into your opponent and you win. At least I have never seen a game like that as I can belive that deep in the ladder it is possible. |
What aerohank said. This is very counter intuitive but throwing or shooting a nade over cover decreases the damage it will couse to models in that cover. In real granades counter cover, in coh2 its the cover that counters granades. Mind that if you are in front of cover instead of behind it or gren squad flanks you, you will still get wiped, but well thats what flanking is for. |
There was a stream once right? Or I remember something wrong? |
can u maybe pls send me the link of this tutorial i have searched it and couldnt find it btw thx for the advice
Here is the link to whole modding guide section where you can find 35 different guides on using modding tools. Some of them are very generic, others cope with specific types of changes.
https://www.coh2.org/guides/category/6/worldbuilder-modding
The most generic one that you should probably start from is this one:

If it happens to contain some outdated info just ask someone. But not me since I'm no modder myself. |
