Thread: [2v2] Black Forest3 Jun 2022, 20:08 PM Hi .org! I've created a new competitive 2v2 map based on the Schwarzwald of southwest Germany. It's set at night, supposed to be spooky or eerie, but fun! I did a lot of research and found some cool sights in the area so it's a sort of tableau inspired by those real scenes. Hope you enjoy! You can read more in the description and patch notes in the Workshop post, but I'm looking for feedback! The map isn't done in terms of art as I've got some areas that need some love (notably the base sectors) but I can change other important things like cover layout, pathing, etc. In: Map Sharing

Thread: For coh3, why not be a bit esporty20 Apr 2022, 06:04 AM IMO the worst part about the USF base is that it's just about the same size as the barrage area for OKW's Scavenge Doctrine artillery which for a certain period of time did not have a maximum to the number of shells; it increased to the theoretical maximum of 9,999 munitions. A simple puma rush into the base and an ascetic adherence to the preservation of munitions led to annihilation losses especially in 1v1 where shouts of "you should be thankful you don't have to spend fuel to rebuild your base" were infinitely both confounding and enraging due to the conspicuous display of ignorance. To this day I am barely able to muster a brief chuckle as I relive the past horrors of this ignorance which, somehow, was worse than suffering a defeat from such a silly strategy. In: COH3 Central

I'd say your biggest issue is going to be cooling. I play on a laptop that's five years old, 1070. They're not made to be taken apart and cleaned thoroughly but I've got my computer on an amazon basics stand with a big cooling fan underneath and that has really improved performance and extended my computer's life. You'll probably be fine in terms of framerate and performance but be sure to track your internal parts' temperatures to make sure they're doing alright. In: Hardware and Tech
Thread: Abandon crit allowing vehicles to take overkill damage25 Mar 2022, 04:24 AM Not sure what the issue is here in the second clip. The 222 is abandoned and the game physics keep it moving for a few seconds but it's fine. With the M3 half track, I'm not aware enough of the game stats to know if it's a bug or not. Does that M3 have extra HP to survive 2+ AT gun shots? Is the game supposed to allow some severe criticals instead of outright dying? Can't remember what they've done or not. In: Lobby
