Thread: OKW Flak HQ Lethality7 Oct 2021, 14:08 PM Not sure how we shifted to OKW's base defenses but, yes, no faction should have base emplacements with 360 degree coverage. I voted "yes" in the poll but only because I don't think any faction should have a tech building that is able to lockdown a large portion of the map (especially on maps with lots of chokepoints, namely kholodny ferma). I much prefer the UKF's ability to put down the optional forward point. Or a design that requires you to create several things (like wehr reinforce + heal bunkers) in order to have a functional forward HQ. In: COH2 Balance

The issue here is literally learn to play. If your opponent has better micro than you then you're at a disadvantage in any situation. This game relies on counter-picking your opponent or going for a powerful unit or army composition. Just because your opponent forces you to move your halftrack doesn't mean that building the halftrack is bad. In: COH2 Balance

Thread: USA scotts (M8A1)12 Sep 2021, 21:01 PM If Scott's maneuverability is an issue, perhaps reduce rotation rate and acceleration to better punish a slow reaction. Is the Scott delivering too much damage? I always find them flimsy and difficult to protect when being flanked on account of USF lacking even a general purpose mine to permanently disable an aggressive P4 or P5 push. The baby mines just give you a bit more time to react and sometimes that isn't enough. We've got to be careful with this unit, though. With USF's lack of non-doctrinal rocket artillery, something has to be able to punish blobs. In: COH2 Balance
