It had an over-the-top bombing run and salvage when originally released. It does need to be reworked, but any commander without Mark Target and some type of tank that can chase something down is always going to be a worse "tank hunter" than Mechanised Support or Guard Motor. I would like to see a "command" T34/85 added to it, which has a 20% reload aura and Mark Target as an ability. PTRS penals would need to be reworked. They're okay in small games, but bad in large games. It did had B4 briefly tho. In: COH2 Balance

If it(advanced warfare) is still underused after heavies are in a good spot, maybe then we can look at buffing/tweaking some other non heavy commanders to get their pick rate up The strafe was really good ability. Then it started getting changes and ended up in current state. In: COH2 Balance

Stormjäger You can't dodge when your super heavy gets rammed and you roll heavy engine damage or immobilized. No ability in the game is like IL2 precision strike, since it has stock ram and the barrage has tight scatter and almost kills a super heavy in 1 salvo. Well, there is rocket strafe, which costs half the muni and arrives faster and doesn't that one niche luftwaffe doctrine with single passes have single pass AT close air support? Plus, when you're talking about ram, that's more units involved. In: COH2 Balance

I know there are 1 click off maps that delete howitzers, I’m only asking why the IL2 is uncounterable. It’s not just about howitzers, the IL2 precision strike is most often used gainst superheavy tanks so I wanted to ask if this is intended not to be counterable by AA or if the ability is overperforming by being immune to AA. Why shouldn't it be? Its very expensive single pass plane, more expensive then absolutely uncounterable stuka dive bomb and equally uncounterable as any other single pass plane. So why would it be counterable? And if it was, there is no reason for whatever is hit to be dusted instantly given the cost and lack of area coverage or denial. Also, on what merit you base your claim of the ability overperforming? Its not a balance issue. In: COH2 Balance

You can also drive a car with broken clutch. It doesn't mean the car is functional as intended, which the strafe certainly isn't and its like that for years. Gimmicky use by using wonky targetting isn't how the ability is supposed to work and its only barely usable and only by people who are aware of the bug and how it works. In: COH2 Balance
