I never played CoHO, I didn't understand the purpose of it. Just sounded like CoH but with OP hero units and a P2W cash shop.
Well, the purpose of COHO was simple, to test solutions they wanted to get into CoH2.
Maybe it's 'cause the Axis players aren't a bunch of forum crybabies, and they keep their cool and fight the uphill battle, unlike some of their "allied" counterparts.

@CieZ That was one of the best reads I've had in a while here. Also, I doubt that anyone is angry at relic or hates them or don't want to give them understanding(they have all the time they can get, we're as a community aren't going anywhere anyway), its just being upset at same mistakes being done over and over, thou as I've said in the past-Relic eventually gets things right and usually its the process that they love to use jackhammer on. Hell, Noun getting on and leaving a post every two days alone would create a LOT of positive feelings. And regarding your last post, darkfall community, while it was one big steaming pile of poo wasn't even half as toxic as certain people here. I do miss the times of CoH1 forums, where strat discussions were spammed, not balance ones and you've used proper reps and strats to counter others argument instead of trying to type "fanboy" faster then the person you argue with does. Good times, miss that a lot. In: COH2 Gameplay |

Do you want to compare time to kill for P4 and T34 against each other, or denial is your thing? Because it wins once in a blue moon doesn't make it more equal head on at far range. In: COH2 Balance |

Look at the time. If game is equal, expect tanks between 12 and 14 minute. I like to have PaK by 10-11 minute on the field, unless I'm really pressed by infantry. In: Lobby |

Its 120 penetration close range for both, but at far range T34 got 80 and P4 got 100. Its also 180 vs 150 armor as well, which does make T34 look like a pea shooter. By looking at tanks stats, you can see why T34 is and needs to be better in AT. It literally got no chance in head on tank battles and even StuG will blow it up. In: COH2 Balance |

Daaaamn, still changing things on units they've already announced, less than a day after announcement. They fixed it. Its back to being doctrinal. How these mistakes even pass is beyond me. USA probably will have an especially hard time with: Why would they? they don't fight soviets. They fight alongside them. In: Lobby |

I'm glad you've shed more lite onto this. That still leaves the question of how SI and ET in their first incarnation made it live(ET got pretty balanced, SI got butchered directly and indirectly by price changes). I don't want to do any witch hunt here and there definitely are communication issues somewhere which lead to patches that are so obviously imbalanced that it makes one wonder WHO and how drunk he was when he accepted them. It is good that you correct me(or anyone) if you know more on the issue. I'm tired of NDA over NDA on NDA about NDA and all this secrecy on relics part. I love their games, but I hate that there is absolutely no transparency on anything and whatever is delivered is delivered in form of bucket of ice cold water on the head. I hope the new group see the imbalances and can beat relic into fixing them when they see it during closed tests, but seeing flowers like march deployment make me double question everything relic related and even my love for the game can not change it. Remember that these experts had access when we got elite troops and soviet industry as well as they haven't noticed slight(to greatly understate it) difference between gren(especially G43) vs conscrip performance. Or at least haven't gave enough feedback on the consequences. In: COH2 Gameplay |
