This is not about factions, germans or sov, this is about poor game mechanics, bad balance, bad design, etc... its always the same history, they release a new patch and then one faction is stronger than another and so on... I will personally switch to OH side just because playing with OH is the only way to enjoy the game. I am living a very busy life, and with 60+ work schedule and night classes at communtiy college I simply don't have enough time for getting my ass whooped by players with less skills and experience. Thread: HOLY POTATOES !!! patch 3/2526 Mar 2014, 17:43 PM Well the soviet infantry sucks more than ever, but the soviet tanks still suck, so we have 3 options here (and mostly will take the first one) 1.- play as german and get an easy win 2.- adapt and play just for fun and not for win 3.- leave the game until next patch Also it makes me laugh 90% germans searching almost every time lol! I just say some tactics are easier in one faction and harder than the other. Soviets can deal with offensive losses and germans are more suitable to bunkering down and firing at range. Just my opinion in how i play the two factions. there is not an easy mode dude, each faction has its weaknesses and strengths. For example, soviets rely on quantity and germans on quality. And if you're not good enough to exploit both the problem is yours and not the game or faction. I mean as soviet, if you dont get map control and win early game, its just GG, cuse germans has the best TANKS, and AT inf. In: COH2 Gameplay

To OP: Using elite troop means you need even more effort in unit preservation and micro or you just give free vet to Soviet. Watch some daily ImperialDane cast and really help. Soviet are indeed easy mode, but they are not unstoppable. Soviet have so many cheesy easy strategy but make sure you know what's going on and getting the right counter at the right time to stop them. "Soviet are indeed easy mode" LOL! yeah sure..
