You know what else never saw combat? T-44, Panther II, T27, IS-3, Maus. Should we add all those too? A Maus would be fun, it's like a Jagdtiger with 360º armour and a turret.
All in favor of Landkreuzer Ratte?
No because it would have to be literally nothing BUT prototype shit in order to compete. I would much rather see Italians or Finns.
This is better I think. There are a lot of units left to be used. I think they should create a "units Pack" and release it with the Custom Commander feature (although some might call it P2W). Then you can create tons of different army compositions. "Minor" axis factions (Italians, Finns etc.) could all be a part of it.
Creating a commander with highly trained Finnish infantry and supporting them with MHT, command tank and shit. But pacific front? No way. Go Play RO2: Rising Storm. Best Pacific Scenario Ever.

Well this thread has gone to shit.
Relic staff start to follow a thread and answer question... and the thread is infested with unrelated (and pointless) historical arguments and personal attacks. Reminds me of another forum... |
Typically when relic introduces a new faction, it's OP and gets nerfed quickly. USF was op when it came out. All kinds of complaints about the AAHT dominating games quickly.
Remind me of RIOT..
This is a logical (but customer unfriendly) tactic done by most big developers, because why not?

Well, 17pndr is a stock unit which means a lot. Loot at the bigger picture.
See, as Ost or OKW, you have to chose a doctrine just to build a PaK40, which means you will lose MHT which is a big deal for Ost, and the OKW commander is also meh. On the other hand, PaK is easily kited, both doctrinal and non-doctrinal (Doctrinal Arty or just get an IS close). This is more important in smaller game modes (thus smaller maps).
I don't own Brits (will not buy it for like a month or two) and I've only faced it so keep that in mind. But I think 17pndr is good in open maps, specially if you build a mortar near it. It is situational, but it's always in your arsenal. |
whats wrong with CAS? Maybe the munition conversion. But even this ability got slighty nerfed (finally). For the planes: You've got at least on most maps enough time to react, since relic delayed the plane strafe by 1-2 seconds?!
Exactly. One suggestion is to make it convert Fuel to Muni either passive or over time (for example, 150 muni in 1 minute) so they can't just convert and call in stukas left and right. And also nerf the amount of Muni you get.
Plane delay is also needed if you call it too close to the edge of the map. |
Give it extra pen and range at Vet3 and we're done. |
Up without other allied factions support, op with it.
Exactly. Even in 2s, they can lockdown a small portion of the map and just support their ally. Save fuel and then here come the Churchills. It's boring to play Defensive commander every game for MHT.
IMO, they need huge early game buffs and huge late game nerfs (or tweaks) specially for emplacements. Make them cheaper but also make them weaker, make them expendable. |
the MHT is incredibly powerful but, speaking from experience, it's kind of boring always going MHT every game against brits. hopefully relic will insure that other counters work better. hopefully.
Exactly. I've been playing with MHT every single game, and in 2v2 games (which I play the most) if both of you don't go MHT or MHT/DoubleLeIG you pretty much lose because Brits can stall and stall and stall then rush with an ATG and a Croc. |

It appears that the officer also increases the accuracy of support teams, like mortars. |
1.2? How does that work exactly? Like it takes the units DPS and times it by 1.2?
The 0.2 mean 20% increased accuracy, which basically means 20% more DPS. This is why vetted Pnazerfusiliers snipe units like crazy when an officer is nearby. |
