I think I know why you are quitting. ImperialDane was streaming your game tonight and you had some a couple of bad losses, mostly because of the state of balance and and stupid meta. It was obvious that you didn't want to blob, but winning without blobbing versus good players is not easy as OKW. And blobbing is boring as hell.

Here is the issue though, German units frequently have excellent long range DPS. As such a retreating maxim may lose its gunner which is often the tail man in the squad and the crew keep returning one by one to pick up the gun until they all die. The issue is not getting over run, it is that the way this functions is different between factions giving a significant advantage to the Germans.
Yea I'm totally with you on that, either HMG42 should be like maxim (Drop and pickup) or maxim should be like HMG42 and M2 HMG.
Nerf mines? Do you mean reduce AOE of mines, because seriously a change to COH1 mines would buff them? Suppression was granted for hitting a mine in COH1. Also problem with mines is not AOE but squad clumping. Right now who cares anyway mine decloak bug makes them nearly useless.

I loved the suppression effect of mines in vCoH, very effective for flank protection. In CoH2 explosives caused "Infantry reactions" but the removed it a couple of patches ago. I would love to see either reaction or suppression again.

Well my friend was assigned to a special forces unit in our border with Iraq, where ISIS is active right now... imagine how life like that would be. Well forget about it let's focus on the positives.
Well, that seems cool but if you are suggesting a commander, get more creative. List more abilities, like calling in amphibious vehicles, naval arty etc.
By the way, remember that commander should not be "game changer".
