Except both Ost and OKW have schrecks which can zone the AEC. UKF don't have any reliable handheld AT to zone the 222 or Luchs. If Piats weren't terrible then we wouldn't have this problem and I think most people would be fine if the AEC buff got reverted or somehow fitted into a Puma role rather than AT/AI.

UKF was in such a a great spot before the AEC patch, that nobody chose them in any 1on1 tournament.
because, as i said, both other allied factions had a higher winrate. if someone would have chosen UKF, given an equal skilled opponent, he would have still been more likely to win, just less likely than if he'd chosen sov/aef. |
yeah... no. That's kicking it in the dick, no one would use it if it was even more expensive. If the AEC were to be nerfed then it should be reverted back but made cheaper to deal with light tank threat but not kill infantry as hard. But that's assuming it is OP and the general consensus is UKF right now aren't doing so hot, I rarely see them being used in higher level play.
that "community consensus" you're talking about is a very vocal minority of allied only players.
even before the patch, UKF only had the lowest winrate of the ALLIED factions, but was still well above both axis factions. ostheer winrates used to be roughly 5% lower, now they're roughly 13% (!) below UKF in 1v1.
UKF wasn't in a bad spot before. Now they're just batshit OP.

It won't work with a local game, you need to play a game via internet so you have lag. Without lag this bug can't be reproduced.

I understand this is coh2.org and I have vCoH concern.
It just freezes occasionally and I have to force reboot. Frustrating. I really don't know why as I have a new computer. windows 10 64 bit. r9 290. I have NO problems AT ALL with all my other games (coh2 included)
I don't even have an error report to submit...
Any ideas?
you can always try to check the warnings.log, maybe you're lucky and there's something in there. else you will probably have to check windows event log to see why your computer froze. |
plant only quarter of minefield near door. it reuires some micro to tell engis to only build that one (tell them to move elsewhere one the build what you want) but you get mined doors only for 15 munny
apart from the fact taht you still need the full ammo amount to start planting, and it's hard to tell were the pios will start planting. also the signs give away that the building is mined, and lots of buildings have several exits. if that all wasn't enough, a single patch of s-mines often times doesn't even kill a single entity. mines at entrances are good in theory, but don't work as ostheer. |
Thats not so bad is it? They seemed pretty nearly equal, aside from abilities. Brit sniper trades a little reload time for light AT power, which is helpful for kubels or scout cars.
well, considering that after going through 24 guys in total and 2 reload cycles for the brit sniper (thats like 10+ seconds of reloading alone) the brit sniper ends up with more kills than the ost sniper. the ost sniper has little going for him, apart from the lower aim time (which, partly, makes him such a bitch in sniper battles, since if both snipers see each other the ost sniper will kill the other one before he can get a shot off).
If you get rekt by building call in infantry simply plan mine in door and whole call in squad will perish if summoned
doesn't work as ost, since you only have the s-mine field. on non 1v1 maps with multiple houses it's increasingly unfeasible, especially when considering how expensive mines are in contrast to partisans. partisans in general are super cheesy in higher up team games |
