depends on which stats you're looking for... usually you'll want the entity (single squad member, so for example weapon, hp per model etc.) or the squad (whole squad stats, abilties, upgrades etc.) stats. entity stats are in ebps, squad stats are in sbps. weapon stats are ofc in weapons (damage, range, accuracy, suppression etc. etc.).
the different categories can be opened via "categories" -> "<category>" and a tab with the category will open. the actual stats are usually in a directory called "races" in the according subdirectories depending on which faction you are looking for. |
I've had at least 2 cases in a few weeks where a machine gun garrisoned in a house will not respond to de-garrison commands (regardless of using hotkeys or clicking the button). The "de-garrison" icon appears but the unit won't follow the command to leave.
This happened once with a maxim on the northernmost house in Kharkov, and in other circumstances I can't remember.
I don't see this bug listed here and haven't heard anyone else report it, has anyone else had problems removing MG crews from houses?
had this happen to me once, couldn't reproduce. guess it's not very common. |
I will ask you a question in return:
Why do you think cheaper, mobile ballistic weapon should hardcounter more expensive, static one without the latter being able t retaliate is in any way balanced?
Bad one dude... unless you're trying to imply that the isg has the same hp as mortar pit and also has brace, your argument is invalid. You can easily capture isgs by rushing them. Pit gets rushed? Brace! Now i have a 30 second window to get something over to defend it. But yeah... totally underpowered. Especially when put into positions where isgs can't shoot at them because of shotblockers. |
Volks can get lmg42s and have fausts? When did that get patched in?
Read; Volks not Grens.
ostheer grenadiers have always been and will always be "volks" to me... sorry for that. |
But no other army in the game has to make this sacrifice. Conscripts get AT nades, molotovs, better veterancy, and doctrinally they get an AI upgrade. USF can put basically anything on it's mainline infantry (and doctrinally add the ability to put down Schu mines). Brits can also put any variety of upgrades they want on their mainline infantry as well.
Simply put, Volks are the only basic infantry in the game with neither a doctrinal upgrade or a selection of upgrades period. This of course isn't getting into the fact Volks scaling got a huge kick in the nuts with the Conscript and Rifle scaling buffs.
not entirely true. first off, volks can get G43s (doctrinal). they do have the lmg42 upgrade and the faust regardless. they're decent main line infantry, but the real problem is that there basically is no wehr infantry that can deal with late game allied infantry (commandos, rifles with upgrades/vet, REs with upgrades/vet, shocks etc.). |
There was a thought process behind it, I just can't say on what thread it is. Ami did discuss this in the very beginning of OCF. But, it went like this (paraphrased): the four chosen invites were based on past tournament wins and their current place on the ladder. A value was placed on what SNF they won and their current ranking. Multiple tournament wins and placings had the highest value followed by ladder ranks. Some people did mention they thought Barton should have gotten an invite. He almost did, but was beaten out by someone based on ladder ranks as tournament wins was comparable.
yeah, already thought it was tournament wins... the problem always is though, no matter what format you use, it's always going to be flawed in some regard... which is why i think that "open quali" is the best format to use, with brackets seeded according to ladder rank (so you don't have the best players facing off in the first rounds). |
I write as a member here, not as an Admin
If it goes to the vote, as I hope it may, the results to date tell me we should not not seed again in a big event, in this way. In other words, we take the Cruzz way (not the Conway)... fight through, from start to finish...everybody.
And yes, I did support the idea of seeding...
If y seeding you mean giving 4 players a free seed / invite to the main round... yeah, that's fairly dumb. If you are talking about not creating the brackets according to a rank-inspired seeding... that would be even worse.
Want i'd like to know is how those 4 were chosen, and why. |
Agreed on evry single point exept the 6-pounder. The 6-pounder is really good for it's cost. And for Centaur, I think it need's a nerf.
pretty much. centaur is too good for its cost, just wiping things way too quickly. RE spam with vickers/piats/whatnot also something that needs further looking into. |
now that it's mentioned, i'm fairly certain i haven't had it since the sept. 17th patch... then again, i haven't played it too much. |
+1+1+1+1+1+1+1+1+1
Map being filled pinning from basic shots from 100 range is dumb, plain and simple. Pack Howi's slightly less dumb for other reasons, but a slightly less dumb dumbass is still a dumbass.
yup, both units insta-pin mechanic is incredibly stupid. since pack howies don't come that early they're not quite as bad. |
