Make teching cheaper. Same thing for sovies. slight damage buff for mg42. Sure and make them cost 280MP. They can compete with full health rifles at long range. And surpass them with LMGs and at Vet 2 just clown Rifles at range. Grens arent the problem. MG42? Sure. But Grens are fantastic for cost once they get rolling. Call ins being the way to go and Ost really only having the StugE, Command P4 and the Tiger. Soviets can shut this all down early with the T34/85s and late with the IS2. Stalling for this against USF is painful too since Shermans/Scotts can easily handle Paks/Fausts/Pgren Shrek Teams. Overall Teching should be more viable then it currently is. If this was the case I think Ostheer would do alot better. And the I never did understand why T3 and T4 have never been an equal asymmetrical choice for Ostheer. One has Genralists and can come earlier and one has Specialists that come later. I am sure if they messed with BP and Building costs they could delay it with a slow time to BP4 and make them equal price by say making the T3 building cost more fuel while BP3 costs less fuel. I think for one thing, Riflemen's AT rifle grenade shooting faster (at least as long as Conscript's AT grenade animation and throw) wold drastically improve Riflemen's ability to counter with the need for bazooka. In terms of fuel cost it is actually 40 (the first truck), then 80 for the flak truck, and then 50 for the Luchs itself, for a total of 170. And that's not counting time between trucks spawning, moving, and deploying, and THAT assumes they weren't destroyed or placed conservatively like in HQ sector. And your forgetting OKW has enough fuel for their first truck. USF starts with 0 fuel. Relevant to the discussion of USF vs the Luchs. Not so much to Soviets. So really its more like 80+50 making it 130 fuel to gain to produce a Luchs. To put that in perspective its costs about the same as producing a Stuart with 0 upgrades to Rifles. Or quite a bit less if say you went BARs/Nades. Or Zook/Nades. In: COH2 Balance

I would prefer a Tiger especially when the meta is for Call in Tanks. Also, Tiger compliments KTs as well and I usually build 1 P4 for support. Panthers with Ost is too much of a hassle (time & fuel) and you can easily get over run by your opponent. Which I never understood. Why isnt a Choice between T3 and T4 with Ost? Why hasnt it been that way from the start? T3 has Generalist armor and T4 has more expensive specialist armor? The serial nature of the Battlephases just plain sucks. They should rebalance it where the BPs cost less and the building costs more so T4 ost costs the same as T3 ost but both costs the same as both now. So for example lower the cost of BP3 but make the T3 building VERY expensive. And BP4 costs what it does and its building costs less. That sort of thing. But oh well... In: Lobby
