This is an example of how useful the T70 can be. He really should have retreated more. hi maybe it is useful as a shock unit for a small window... but the t3 cost is just way too much to get the t70 out with an additional 70 fuel cost early enough unlike the m8 from vcoh to have a decent window to cause havoc in whermacht ranks.. In my opinion, the t70 should be available from t1, t2 or the base building after researching it. (if from the base bldg, then it can only be researched and called in after t1,t2 is made) This way, soviets still remain an either this or that tech choice faction cos if you research t70's after plopping down t1, t2 you loose out on time to make the t3 bldg atm waiting to get to get to 120 fuel and then another 70 fuel gives ostheer enough time to prepare for it In: Replays
Thread: 2nd Sherman vs Panther test3 May 2014, 19:34 PM This time the panther turned out to be undefeated king of langresskaya unlike the last time I tried with another guy. Turns out, the key to beating the shermans with your tanks is not letting the shermans close the distance because their pen (or is it damage I dont know) drops off pretty drastically with distance So if you let them get close up on your rear/sides especially its like that your panther does the dying not the shermans.... Thread: Amazing teamwork1 May 2014, 11:11 AM Well I had this random 2v2 automatch game today and was paired with a guy who had 5 auto wins n 14 stomps but man did we play as a team or what!!! I felt so good after winning this one that I just had to share this lol. Btw I do the lions share of the work but still we played real nice as a team.... In: Replays
Thread: Thoughts about new patch29 Apr 2014, 08:55 AM I dunno how you missed it but before this patch, pioneer and pgren blobs could indeed ignore cover and run across the field, get on top of soviet inf who stayed in cover but still got cut down by those vicious mp40s,mp44s. Personally, I am loving this patch and am playing germans more than I ever did before because while they do have some great advantages over soviets, (and still are the stronger faction imo) they now have some downsides as well so winning with germans is a lot more satisfying this patch than in the last two patches and so is winning with soviets which is a sign that things are pretty well balanced now edit:- shermans btw do seem a bit too good against both inf and armor and they accelerate really fast but ofc relic will probably only nerf them after the western front expansion comes out In: COH2 Balance

Thread: What the .... is up with the germans ?12 Apr 2014, 01:04 AM I would so love it if relic buffed soviets just once just that once better than germans, even for a couple of weeks or so. I would so love to tell all the whining german fanboys to then actually l2p or even better 'learn to use combined arms' 'use cover and micro better' 'learn to use the inherent synergy of units in the ost army'. But seeing relic's balancing record from coh1 through to now I don't think that day will come sigh. (I don't quite blame them seeing as such a big chunk of their coh playerbase has a big hard on for the nazi army and especially german steel so they're just keeping the bigger group happy.)
