Tiger, definetely. And no, it dosn't suck.
Good all around and reliable, more easy spamable than panther. Why spending a ton of fuel and mp just to bring a tank dedicated for killing tanks and having verry little efficiency on everything else when I can stop at T2, wait for a good all around Tiger then bring as manny as I can?

As OKW I prefer the Panther combined with Obers. (Sry I don´t fancy that big, slow King Cat!)

As Wehr it depends on the doctrine. But if I can get the Tiger then I choose the Tiger over Wehr Panther.

People seems to forget that OP ask Tiger vs Panther on the specific scenario of 4v4.

My answer: a "blob" of Tigers is all you need and it's easier to use since they are an all in one vehicle. They can deal with Tanks and infantry effectively. Panthers are the better option if you've the micro and rest of army to support it.

Tiger's vet bonus's make them a better long term choice in my opinion and Iv see way to many people throw games by getting a Panther horde which just gets owned by Jacksons/Su85's. All it takes is some AT grenades to slow that panther right down and kill it.

Regardless however you should always support your tanks.

I agree, Panthers are easy target for AT nades and TD finish off combo. I would prefer a Tiger especially when the meta is for Call in Tanks. Also, Tiger compliments KTs as well and I usually build 1 P4 for support. Panthers with Ost is too much of a hassle (time & fuel) and you can easily get over run by your opponent.

Which I never understood. Why isnt a Choice between T3 and T4 with Ost? Why hasnt it been that way from the start?

T3 has Generalist armor and T4 has more expensive specialist armor? The serial nature of the Battlephases just plain sucks. They should rebalance it where the BPs cost less and the building costs more so T4 ost costs the same as T3 ost but both costs the same as both now.

So for example lower the cost of BP3 but make the T3 building VERY expensive. And BP4 costs what it does and its building costs less. That sort of thing.

But oh well...

The PTRS's are fine as they are. Whenever i'm up against Guard Infantry, I always have to be careful with my vehicles or the Guards will completely destroy them. Good range, good damage and fairly cheap; if anything, the PTRS should nerfed since it's ridiculously good for the price. Even in the hands of Conscripts, the PTRS's are extremely potent.
