Relic was originally going to do this with CoH2, it was a feature that was announced along with Tank Crews. Neither one made it in, Crews probably due to time constraints, but Flames because it'd be too strong.
Tank Flamethrowers are already amazingly powerful right now, having them hard-counter other thanks would just make the Crocodile and KV-8 the be-all end-all of armored combat. It'd also be unfair for the Axis who will not have any Flamethrower Tanks unless the Flame-Hetzer is released.

I've noticed PIAT and Bazooka doing this way more than Panzerschrecks, but they all do it, and they shouldn't. I'm gonna vote no, and that's for all AT weapons, up to and including things like Jacksons and Panthers. |

- Move the M8 greyhound to 2 CPs. Provide some way to allow it to scale better or to have more shock value. Maybe allow it to radios to provide recon (similar to coh1) for a moderate munitions or mp cost? Or maybe switch it's role to be a light AT vehicle like the AEC or puma?
-I&R pathfinders I think should function as a regular pathfnder squad, with the ability crit squads below a certain health level, with the additional ability to call in artillery. They need more utility in general.
-The airdrop needs a major overhaul. Personally, I think that airborne with bazookas is a massive waste of elite infantry, on a weak piece of anti-tank. I think that this ability should be pushed to 8 CPs, be 550 manpower elite AT drop. It should drop a Airborne squad with the ability to upgrade Recoiless rifles for 120 munitions, as well as an uncrewed AT gun. This would make this ability have late game utility, while still distinguishing it from airborne commander airborne troops.
- I'd like to replace the recon run with something like increased sight from tanks or something.
- Give the M8 the T-70's gun and remove Canister Shot.
- Give Pathfinders and IR Pathfinders M1 Garands with better long range DPS, maybe decrease received accuracy.
- Recoilless Rifles were basically direct-fire Pack Howitzers, and that level of Infnatry firepower has no place in CoH2 imo. Just drop one squad with Thompsons and one with Bazookas, and drop the AT Gun with a Crew attached.
- Just make it function like the Ostheer / Soviet Recon Overflight.

Also, some people have been saying the barrage doesn't have flares, it does, at least it does from the Brit player's perspective. You probably didn't notice them called in a mile behind the front line.
That's weird, I've seen the strike in observer mode but I didn't see any flares. I mean, after the 2nd or 3rd shell an illumination flare came down but that's it. |

That's too much. On some maps that allows enemy units to go to their base and back.
5-10 seconds. That would prevent it from blinking out of existence, and not nerf the ability into the ground.

The reason why you see tanks cloak in the middle of "combat" is that they need something actually shooting at them to decloak them, you can also use the new increased spotting range on recon planes and scout cars to see cloaked units.
And since the chief complaint about the Jagdpanzer is that it cloaks so fast that it vanishes when some tanks are reloading, it's clearly not working correctly. The delay should be 15 - 25 seconds after combat ends, this includes both shooting and being shot at. |
