These doctrines are useless due to the proliferation of superheavy tanks. If soviets could hold their ground only with non-doctrinal tanks most of these commanders would be really great. Sadly, you can't do shit with T34/76 or SU85. (You can't even combine both ) You are forced to have ISU152, IS2 or T34/85 in your army if you want to win. In: COH2 Balance

If you havent noticed the most expensive units in this game are nearly impossible to vet up. i managed to get sturmtiger to vet 3 once when it managed to kill 80 enemies including 2 t-34's. fat chance of you ever seeing a vet 5 super heavy among the okw or even the panther. its nearly fucking impossible and as far as im concerned these units do not even have vet 4 or 5. These units have a magnificent perfomance even at vet0. And yes, OKW are more expensive due to its better perfomance and possibility to reach vet5. Puma, Jagdpanzer, Stuka, Panther, Sturmpio, etc, are in much better place at vet0 than their allied counterparts. Only volks are more or less equal to allied units, for that their price is cheaper, althought their vet is awesome and they scale very well due to its panzerschreck upgrade. Seriously, after all arguments everyone is giving to you I don't understand how you can still defend that volks are underpowered. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Panzergrenadier needs a buff 5 Sep 2014, 09:15 AM Maybe single schreck upgrade and smoke grenades will make PGs much more useful. As said above LMG meta punishes heavily short range units. Conscripts have Oraah, and Shocks have smoke, perhaps Pgrens should have any ability to get at close range safely. In: COH2 Balance

Brummbar and Tiger can too oneshot ATguns, but obviously at least they will receive a shot. I repeat that I don't like that behaviour in any tank besides the Sturmtiger. Decrease AoE to 5 like proposed will make ISU a bit less given to squadwiping (alike to a long range Brummbar), but the issue will still remain. In: COH2 Balance

Thread: Help me with some COH history please4 Sep 2014, 20:02 PM Tiger Ace was free when introduced at first with the only cost of having all resource income stopped till the end of the game. You could call it whenever you want once reached the required CPs. It was a much more powerful unit than the TA we have now, wiping squads with one shot and destroying ATguns with two. The main issue is that being free it was always the last card of every ost player in every single game, and it made possible absolutely stupid comebacks, because Tiger Ace could destroy all enemy armor & ATguns by itself if supported by vetted pios and schrecks. Most people just called the Tiger Ace and throwed it into the enemy base to destroy all buildings. In: Lobby
