Whatsup with the T70 vs Luchs?
I haven't tried in a vacuum, but I think a T70 will lose 1v1, but T70 with Guards will mean the Luchs will be in trouble and can be chased down by the 70?
I guess I suggested that because it's the first vehicle you can get as Sov that would be able to chase down a damaged Luchs and finish it off if it tries to flee. |
Even guards in Green Cover can scare it away I find. Failing that, have a T70 with Cons (AT Grenades), Guards or a ZiS will run it off or destroy it outright.
If you don't have Guards or can't get to T3 in reasonable time, then as Romeo said a ZiS will do the trick, but needs to be supported. Just be sure to keep it protected and don't let it get flanked. Never forget how useful mines are either. |
I agree, I realised the other day how unreliable Raketens have become. They take so long to fire the first shot, so long to reload, so fragile and now they don't even gain vet a decent speed either. I would be happy to see them even just get their old vet rate back so they can at least cloak in a decent time.

Haha laughing about the OKW players who say they can stop the 2 flame strafniki cars of death. If they retreat their forces you will roast them on retreat. Next to that the kubel won't apear after you killed their first squad xd, at least never in my experience.
The only limiting factor is a US player or are US players in your team. Their faction is just, well how do I put it, worthless in fighting the one faction that they were desinged to fight

I find the M3 to be a major threat if may squads are caught on their own, that's why I usually try to keep them close enough that they can all convene and focus fire it. Even without raketenwerfers you can usually kill or scare off an M3 with Sturms in cover to draw the fire and then 2 Volks or Kubel attacking it too. It'll depend on what the opponent is doing with his other units that's tough.
This is 1v1, I have no idea what the early game is like in 4v4. |
I played Pantherswag the other day, he was using US and I was using OKW.
He used ten million riflemen and I was all like OH GOD WHAT DO I DOOOOOOOOOOO!? And lost. My raketenwerfers were useless against them. Obviously they need a major buff.
So that works sometimes, but it's probably just that he was a better player than me. In fact, that's almost certainly what it was.
For real though, when I play against OKW I don't find that that hard to deal with in 1v1. With Soviets even Cons can do well against them early game if you keep them close enough together to support eachother. At least hold out until you get some kind of support up, either an M3 or Maxim to push them back a little.

Are we paying for this new campaign or what?
I bought both factions separately (after both the OKW codes I got at Rezzed were already in use... thanks for that..) and so I paid as much for those two mp items as I did for vanilla Coh2. That is of course sans singleplayer campaign so I'm wondering, do I also have to buy this campaign?
As far as AA content reaching multiplayer all I can hope for is some new maps that clearly have OKW's wonky design in consideration when being made.
It's new content, so of course you'll have to pay for the campaign.
As for what's coming for MP from this, I would imagine a balance patch to coincide with new commanders that will have any new units from the campaign. There was a pic floating around of the Hetzer being in a new commander for example. |
In 4v4 it's often to see 2-3 heavy vehicles which kill everytinh on their path, make enemy bleed, and when hp bar is lower than 50% they just reverse to point where 3-4 engi squads are reparing those heavies. It's really frustrating. Getting vet, killing enemies, no bleed, no penalty for bringing KT to 10% hp.
I thought so, I still think that throttling the resources for team games is the way to go. I imagine this would solve so many issues, although who knows, maybe Relic tried it and it had all sorts of other consequences. |
