Other very good Soviet AFV:
Kv-85. KV tank with the 85mm gun
Is-1 on the same platform of IS-2 but with the 85mm gun
ISU-122- The ISU-152's smaller cousin.
SU-100- Soviet counterpart of the Jagdpanther
German side:
Jagdpanzer IV- German counterpart of the SU-85
Nashorn- Like Elefant but with paper armor.
Stuh42- Sadly missing from COh2. |

With the elbe day patch, i find the Is-2 to be overpriced and underperforming now esp. vs. the Tiger. |
post more about alpha, tell me more |
'The Brest Fortress' is very good, and the whole movie is uploaded on youtube. |
Use pioneers to recrew. It is cheaper. |
The Tiger tank still does pretty well against 2 x T-34/85.
P4's can be improved during mid game with 1 shreck squad. They also still have their advantage of 3rd MG and higher rate of fire. |
Pretty much any tiger commander is essential. |
I believe the concept behind the new German T4 is to make it less reachable/desirable than it was before so the Soviets would be more balanced with the Germans.
If you look at it this way, the doctrinal Tiger is a real bargain.
I personally think that the elbe day T4 is fair. |
If the Germans are to have their old super panther back, then the Soviets should get the Kv-85/IS-1 or even IS-2 at T4.
Already the German T4 has the effective Brummbar. |
Osttruppen are great for remanning support weapons while keeping your panzergrens/grens on the field. That is what I want osttruppen for.
Guards should not be used for AI without the DPs. Otherwise, it's wasting your MP and not getting what you can out of an elite infantry unit. |
