Just don't make emplacements plz And Trench + Vickers is OP and better than Bofors. Also the occasional mortar pit behind a building is fine. Cromwell spam + arty cover plz. Ggwp. Keep Infantry Sections alive and never use them aggressively. CoH 2 new factions just boiled down to this quite honestly and I hate it. All FRPs should be removed imo except for maybe Brits cuz their playstyle isn't aggressive. But I would say the advantage is that USF is very early shock-inducing aggressive faction, and when you have the entire team doing the same thing, there is a lot of shock and chaos that Axis cannot handle, especially Ostheer who don't have enough infantry to counter everything. If he made less MG42s, and maybe some grenadiers, mortars, and a sniper, it would've been better. Mortars are the worst against USF from personal experience. In: Replays

Opponents (all OKW, ironically) GG'd when score was about 297 to 150. Think all of their trucks had been destroyed at least once. Allies were amused and appreciative. In addition to great team blob control, I'm sure most players don't have Tactical Support Company, so it also gives teammates a chance to try a pretty sweet unit if they missed the free trial. Calliope lend lease tactics ALL the way! People get really happy when they get a Calliope for Christmas standing all beautifully next to their base ready to be re crewed (especially Brits). Thread: Riflemen Up Close and Personal30 Dec 2015, 02:38 AM I've been doing this since forever, but after playing British forces I've learned the benefits of cover, standing still, producing as much DPS, and prolonging a fight. You never charge a unit in a 1v1 engagement. You only do this in a 2v1 engagement. This is because when there's two squads fighting the Volks can only shoot at one squad, and since there's two squads next to each other doing a lot of DPS, the Volks will have to retreat really early or face getting wiped. I also long charging enemies like this to throw grenades. But most of the time you should NOT be charging your Riflemen beyond mid-range. I've learned this and it has helped me quite a lot avoiding MP drain and casualties. There's a point where u can get too aggressive. Distanced engagements also means plenty of time for your HMG or Pack Howitzer to shoot at it. In: US Forces Strategies

Currently each point gives the same amount of resources as 1v1 and the amount of points to cap for a team game map is the same. With more players the map can be capped a lot faster, leading to higher income in the early game in team games than in 1v1s. What would help if the resources gained from each point was lowered in team games but also increase the amount of capture zones. Then they could look at map flow, i.e. how easy is it to execute flanks, too many choke points, vehicle pathing etc. In: Lobby
