One of the coolest abilitys in the game, drop it slightly behind there front lines when your making a push everyone runs and someone dies, have 1 shotted su85's and one shotted my own squads with it, the ultimate meme arty.
Mainly this one.
No need for bile shield when engaging other communities since I don't play MOBAs or FPS.
So... you're saying here that you played against a player, who always does the same strat, the strat you are fully aware of and have seen on streams/yt more then once and despite all of that failed to anticipate and prepare.... considering the fact that ALL the anticipation and preparation that's needed to hardcounter this strat is... to have mainline infantry on field with at least 25 muni in the bank.... and you blame it on balance?
What makes you believe its a balance issue?
Because to me, you're salty because you've lost a game.
Its ok, this balance forum is 99,9% salty threads after losing a game to something and 0,01% actual balance issues.
Im saying I have played vs him in the past, I have seen videos of his style before I played him and ive watched replays since and in every single game he does the same thing and it's always effective regardless.
Mines win games, they are a huge part of the game and crucial to protecting your flanks, the turbo zook 9000 bus ignores this crucial gameplay element.
It actually is, because now its this, then its something else and so on until the only viable option that remains is a-move head on.
Its not even tournament breaking stuff that's omnipresent everywhere.
Its literally a single nooblet seeing something on twitch and shat his pants at the sole thought of maybe facing it once in his a-moving career, so he rushed to the forum to remove the bad, unknown thing before it touches him.
Right, are you always so caustic over a video game ? anyways I have played tootsy, everyone knows what hes going to do and yet he does it every game because he knows its absurdly effective and detecting anti vehicle mines while in a moving vehicle is broken regardless if it makes the game boring for you personally,
but I bet you found it much more stimulating when the jagtiger was 2 shotting your shermans behind buildings on city maps.
The fact that this topic comes up almost weekly, and always gains dozens, if not hundreds, of replies should indicate that something is wrong. Balanced units don't get this much attention; there are no massive weekly threads about STUGs, Shermans, or even rocket arty.
Whats more alarming is when a change is made its usually inconsequential and unrelated.
"we admit the jackson is over performing, therefore +5 fuel cost, and so balance was restored"
Ram does 320 damage on a penetrating hit and was implemented when the t34's main gun did 80 damage on penetration and only had a abysmal 80 penetration, clearly times and the t34 has changed.
Don't try to turn the game into a snorefest, just because you were surprised by something unexpected and had no idea how to counter it first time you've seen it.
ESPECIALLY if you haven't even faced it yourself and just observed it on twitch.
Well aside from making coh2 look like a children's game with half tracked vehicles tokyo drifting around tanks with anime physics looking ridiculous it negates one of the main counters of vehicles which is mines.
Changing this is not going to make the game a "snoozefest" any more than the changes to stopping soviet snipers in clowncars and elite troop training your team mates infantry and tanks to vet 3 before they fired a single round or swarms of sprinting falls and shocks with valient assault/mother russia or the snipers with predator camo from coh1.
Lead attacks with infantry, instead of a solo slow unit with limited vision?
At some point, you'll have to learn the game, balance isn't going to solve all your personal issues, because no one can patch noob out of you.
Ikab is noob ? c'mon man that's no a reasonable reply, basically if the t34 gets vision of the big cat its game over if that's acceptable we should let elepahnts and jt's one shot any tank that it comes into 35 range of.
The issue is that when they were 480hp they were given many tools to survive like that, then they cranked up the health, increased the price and called it a day leaving a unit with average durability but vastly above average mobility making it extremely durable. It would be like taking grens, slapping 2 extra models on them, adding 20mp and calling it a day while leaving their lmg, med kits, damage reduction ect. Except they also have an ability that gives them bonus DPS and for some reason the lmg can fire on the move.
Underrated post, they removed the risk from the risk/reward dynamic from a extremely mobile but fragile glass cannon unit but left the reward so its just a extremely mobile cannon.
