The one thing I'd like to see though is US be able to recrew vehicles without sacrificing a squad to the blood god to do it. Is it fear that he needed to extend his tank to give your tank finishing blow and he lose his tank and you not (he know he would loose his panther but with his army compasition it was far better for him to destroy both tanks that leave is2 and panther on field.) Anytime you're doing a unit trade, it's a gamble. As you say, he already knows he's going to lose his tank by doing it. So if he gets greedy and tries to take you out that's a risk/reward scenario he's decided to take. (He should be aware of the chance for it to be abandoned when doing this maneuver.) In a balanced army, he'd have other options than the Panther to take it out. In: COH2 Gameplay

Between weapon upgrades, good vet bonuses and the overall composition of the US mid game army they provided a way to have a very cost effective but weaker early game yet have a similar endgame. It was one of my favourite builds for awhile last year. Mass CE could work, but there's no real point to doing it other than to have multiple flamers or spam demo charges. Then this was the old price: squad_cost = 160 squad_member_count = 5 160/(25) -> 160/10 = 16 MP reinforcement but now its squad_cost = 200 squad_member_count = 5 200/(25) -> 200/10 = 20 MP reinforcement (whutt???? math???) The bug is Relic changed the squad_member_count from 5 to 4 IN ADDITION TO increasing manpower so now you have a whopping +9 MP penality. Right now its: squad_cost = 200 squad_member_count = 4 200/(2*4) -> 200/8 = 25 MP reinforcement (bad) Hope this gets fixed soon. 20 mp would still be okay. In: COH2 Balance

In vcoh Wehr had 4 different main infantry (Volks, Grens, Storms, KCH) and they were all very unique from eachother. OKW's 6 infantry squads do overlap roles a bit, but there is some variation. But USF rifles vs RE are basically the same thing. Maybe some people might give RE different weapons from what the Rifleman are carrying, but given the same loadout they behave the same way. Its just cheaper reinforcing for a more fragile unit. So I don't think the USF will be more "bland" now, the fact that USF infantry are so similar to each other (especially rifles & RE) is what made it so bland to begin with. Rear Echelon build and repair stuff. They suppress instead of throw grenades. They can't bumrush in and do a ton of damage and are reliant on weapon upgrades. They had utility in the form of minesweepers and rifle grenades in fighting positions. They were quite distinct from Riflemen and builds that featured them are quite distinct. I don't know why the fuck they changed them. In: COH2 Balance

Piats are awful vs light vehicles only good vs slow targets(aka heavy tanks) If you use attack ground, you can quite easily hit light vehicles. Okay mate Don't drive your fucking AEC blindly at them, obviously. Learn to use PIATS Learn to use mines. If you're really bad build a bofors and hide behind it. If you were COMPLETELY reliant on the sniper to counter such vehicles before, then that's your problem. Brits have lots more options than that. He still does soft vehicle damage too. In: COH2 Gameplay
