WDYM?
As of last patch, the main issue is lack of map variety.
Balance and variety is good, performance is good, sound is great, planes no longer silly.
More maps, observer and replays and CoH2 is left behind.
No. Slow TTK, low dynamics, shitty maps, shitty sounds (especially the screams of units), shitty interface. For me, it's a shitty scale: due to the high grounds on the map, the camera became much higher, which made the infantry units tiny. In CoH1 and CoH2, the scale was such that you can see battlefield but you can also distinguish your units in detail. In CoH3, you don't see your infantry units, even though the game sells you infantry skins that which you should admire and probably won't see.
Balance is not equal to damn fun and interest. New Patch? Online continues to fall. |
Fair enough. You're better off giving it at least a year to see if it improves or dies. You know, just like COH 2.
I've been playing CoH2 since testing, without big breaks. I did not have problems with CoH2 at the start, it only caused me joy and adrenaline rush. |
So to be clear, despite all of the totally valid criticisms of the game, you haven't actually played it? Or you have, and you just didn't pay for it?
Yes, I played. Right now I don't have the game. I looked at the game, appreciated it and returned it to the owner. This was one of the options, I talked to people who wanted to buy the game and found out that the global key does not work.
And yes, if the game was really interesting, I would honestly admit it. But it's not interesting.
Purely theoretically, I can buy the game. Change your region of residence will buy foreign currency and buy CoH3. But after what I saw it makes absolutely no sense. Mess with the account for the sake of such a game. |
As far as I can tell, neither him nor Crecer have chosen to spent any money on the game because they hate it. But boy oh boy do they love to tell people about it.
SEGA doesn't want my money. The game is not available, and even the global key cannot be activated. Imagine I tried to buy the game, To legally try the game. I tried the game, but it's illegal. It's shit.
Well, since SEGA doesn't want my money, good luck to them. With niche projects that dropped online to 1,500 people. |
And what to discuss CoH3? There is nothing to discuss, the game is boring and not interesting. And I will not stop saying the obvious thing - balance is not equal to interest and fun.
In CoH2, people were very interested and enthusiastic about the game, constantly offering ideas, commanders, etc. But Relic was either deaf or unable to do anything. Then Relic just gave up on the game and allowed to make small patches. Enthusiasm vanished, faith in Relic waned as well, and a failed DoW3 cemented Relic's reputation. |
Care to explain what, in your opinion, this "rather controversial ideology" that Relic fully support, is?
To get banned? We know perfectly well that it has now become a religion and any criticism will be subject to a severe ban. Regardless of freedom of speech and opinion. |
Again claiming that Relic has anti Soviet sentiment is one thing.
Claiming that Relic is nazi lovers is another. Relic has not praised nazis or the crimes they have committed in anyway way.
They just showed:
- Soviets - scum
- The Germans - they're okay, a few prisoners of war deaths, but compared to what the Soviets are doing, they're completely okay. You can even empathize a little.
Of course, this certainly does not look like love for the Nazis.
|
Your argument could be used to support a theory that Relic was anti Soviet union.
Calling them Nazi lovers is something completely different.
This argument works. If in CoH1 we were shown a story, the officer whose policy was not shown to us. It is simply the story of one battle or event. Then in CoH2 they tried to shove the events from June 22, 1941 to May 9, 1945 into a small campaign. And only one war crime (the death of prisoners of war) which is also shown very vaguely. At the same time, at one of the moments of the campaign, the Main Hero becomes a war reporter, and of course he did not see the burnt cities and villages, people taken away to slave labor in Germany, concentration camps and experiments on people. He's just blind.
If the campaign was focused on only one event: the Battle of Moscow, Stalingrad, Kursk, Bagration, Berlin, it doesn't matter, any of them were a huge number. Without reference to politics, as in CoH1. I would say yes, there is no love for the Nazis here. But Relic told in the campaign about the whole war. |
- more maps all outside 1v1
- Addition of the Italian and Soviet factions.
- new interface, now it's terrible
- path finding
- fixing the mechanics of the penetration, now the tank can shoot directly at the front of another tank and get "rear penetration"
- graphics, now soldiers and vehicles look like plastic soldiers
- sound, sounds of units are very bad, their constant squeals are just annoying. |
Wait, you think its THOSE people who are naive? Not the people who expected COH 2 level balance and content, right out the gate? Hahaha.
I immediately did not expect something sane and interesting from CoH3, and so it happened.
If the studio starts to create its product, it gets worse and worse every time. Why are you expecting something special? DICE has already shown the degradation of the Battlefield series: BF1, BF5, BF2042 got worse and worse. Relic is no better in this regard. CoH2 (with poor campaign, but decent multiplayer). DoW3 and now CoH3. Where does such naivete come from? |
