Wehrmacht also has this opportunity - osttruppen. But as I said above - I don’t need cannon-fodder, I need effect units that will be useful and get the maximum veterancy. Conscripts are not effective, they are bad even as a support squad - their only useful to throw an anti-tank grenade. |

Or just make them cheaper with every tier you build? So by the late game they are affordable cannon fodder for piling onto VPs etc.

Why are people against the idea of DP upgrade at T4 for Cons? We can definitely adjust the price to make them more viable in late game if the cheap manpower is in question.

If you let two katushas get killed by JLI you deserve to loose.
Katyusha is very vulnerable, killing two Katyushas with the sabotage unit - easy, using a howitzer counterbattery shooting - one shot, especially considering that in almost every mast the Germans are spamming howitzers. |
The only arty piece that is trully OP in this game is Katyusha as it can consistently wipe lone squads on demand. It is tied to huge risk though because in order to achieve this effect you need to do barrage from minimal possible range.
And just that you contradict yourself: one Katyusha has a dense rocket volley only at a dangerously close distance. If you want a dense rocket salvo at a distance - you need two Katyushas, one jaeger unit that appeared in the rear can destroy two Katushas, which can cost you victory in game. So no, Katyusha is the most balanced artelian unit in the game. |

Why do you keep on insisting creating new units is realistic when only Relic could create new units and they won't? The game is in its fith year, Relic doesn't have any developers working on it anymore.
So.... you have a whole studio. Support and development of Dawn of War 3 will be abandoned, support for the Company of Heroes 2 is conducted by the strengths of the game's community, to extract a small group of 3D painter who will leisurely draw several new models several months - absolutely real, because creating and balancing these commanders most likely made the Community a balance and modding group. |

We're aiming to have the Commander Revamp go live in October/Novemeber and the new commanders hit the game in December. Posted by RE_Andy in on 1:05PM Jul 3, 2018.
During the seven months of existence of this topic, it was possible to actually create new units for all factions, for example: paratroopers for the Soviets, Super pershing / Sherman Jumbo for the USA.
It was absolutely realizable. You just had to vote what new Commander you would like to see, and for seven months it is a long time to make all the new commanders. |
