Relic is telling OKW players to l2p indirectly by increasing the detection range of sturm sweepers. And allowing it to be targeted. Sturm sweeper range was inferior, its just a bug fix. Good things you can target a demo, when you know that if you defuse them, he just have to press a button to tell you bye bye In: COH2 Balance

The fear factor coming from them is also important. Don't change them. They are not spamable and can be swept or kill with small arm easily. (Stukas sweeping...) LMG is still needed ( i am not saying LMG on each grens ) if your ennemy is not blobbing into HMG ( as it should not ) cause vanilla grens will lose against rifles, LT, and a bigger number of Cons (and eventually Maxim, Guards, etc ) In: COH2 Balance

PaK makes sure T70 won't rush you frontally, if he will, he'll get a shot and have to retreat. Gren makes sure T70 won't flank you or rush your PaK to circle strafe kill it. Not a rocket science. Simple advantages for positioning properly. You can even use dual 222 which will contest T70 just fine and you'll still save on fuel. You still need 4 faust to kill it, if all your grens are around your pack, where is your map control ? Anyway theory war is never usefull, we will see in the futur if this specific change is good, wait and see In: COH2 Balance

I rarely see a T70 staying afk taking faust + 2 pak shots. With the help of Shreks okay, its understandable, with only a pak and gren, not really ;P But yes, we will see after the patch, it can be a good thing In: COH2 Balance

During early game you rely on snipers and HMGs. Unless you play with grenspam, in which case, you're doing it wrong. Also, as I've said, 222 isn't hard capped at 1, you really can build a second one and all lights but Stuart will be in trouble. When the common BO is 3 grens (4 ?) 1-2 MG, 1 sniper, the core unit of your army is still Grens, or show us how you win with only MG's and Snipers in a decent 1v1 In: COH2 Balance

Some people seem to have incredibly hard time comprehending tech costs changes and the fact that it affected everyone except OKW who previously had cheapest teching and now have laughably cheap teching. Can you explain me how a faster T3 for soviet and +40 fuel for major as anything to do with a "hey rush Tech 4 when its even more expensive" thing ? Why spend this immense amount of fuel just for a panther when T3 tanks do the job very well ? In: COH2 Balance
