I have spoken with another OberKommando players and they think the same, our army is broken. Our infantery have less HP and do less damage, Relic fix this shit as soon as possible.
Every infantry have 80HP, only exception is sniper 82HP, could you be more precise about damage ? every unit ( or weapon profil if you prefer ) does different damage
Maybe you could provise us a replay, and we can explain you, what went wrong, what were the possible options |
I remember the innumerable posts about CoH2's soon death back in summer 2013. And still this game (somehow) lives.
The most recent patch went in the right direction all in all. If the rest of the Alpha changes (#NDA) will be applied in an reasonable amount of time this game could allure more players.
Other than that I cannot take OBK serious.

Ihmo troll thread, but come on, the ostheer plane pin any and all squads in their area while katyusha can hit or miss squad in its area....really different ones.
In addition one is an ability and you don´t need to tech for it....so reaaaaaally differents one, no room for comparing them.
Pin != Kill, you choose one or the other, not both, or you give every arty the same ability, imo it's a bad idea

Don't worry, I'm pretty sure this game only has about a year's life left in it. Sony isn't going to sit here and watch a game with such a low player base continue to suck resources.
The smart folks at Relic seem to have seen the writing on the wall and are leaving the sinking ship in droves.
Wouldn't surprise me to see Relic written off entirely - exactly what other assets do they have that makes Sony any money at all?

A Ju 87 Stuka can immobilize platoons of infantry with machine guns, but a barrage of 132mm with splinters and shrapnel cant? Ok, bless realism. i forget that the Germans were nerfed. I think they should have more Panzerschrek

To use demo need a lot of ammo and its need know where blob will be walking, its a very luck to demo somthing.
Zis barrage its like su-76 barrage only to scary, no killing power and no supression.

Ostheer have to call a plane to pin squad, in a reduct area compared to katyusha aoe range, and will not kill infantry ( or 1-2 entity maybe ) |
Yes, the Katy has magic guided missiles and the Panzerwerfer has especially designed safety missiles that will automatically choose a scatter pattern that avoids all organic matter. Bull-shit.

I don't think the MG42 is OP. I think it does what it needs to do. I just think the maxim sucks in comparison to the MG42 and does not do what it needs to do.
Both machine guns are equally good at stopping a single squad. Both have pros and cons concerning their set up time, arch of fire, vulnerability to the opponents special abilities etc. But when one of the HMG is confronted by a blob, it deals with it, while the other one needs to retreat immediately because it can only suppress 1 squad at a time, maybe 2 if you keep switching targets manually. It defeats the purpose of the unit, and you are better off just making another conscript squad.
Ost have a better MG, and SU have a better mobile artillery ? isnt the asymetrical balance ? ( lets ignore demo for this time)
When you run in MG range, you think "oh, he outplayed me this time, lets retreat or try something (smoke etc) ( entity lost 1-2 max ?), now run in a demo, lets say "he outplayed me (i honestly use the F word myself in this case) ( Squad lost, minimum 1)
