The Germans have the best none doctrinal flamer unit = FHT. Tried to play as Soviets against this thing?
that thing is quite easy to counter, any AT gun or 2xAT nade, will counter FHT quite easy, and FHT don't kill as nearly fast as KV8. soviet's KV8 is on the other hand still wiping squads so fast and so fat.
The Tiger Ace is awsome perfect High stakes risk/reward unit I just feel like a lot of you rather whine and spread negativity instead of adapting and using your wits and tactics its one tank and hardly unkillable and the risk his huge. Stop whining 'and have fun .
the reward for a tiger ace is almost too good. in a even game if tiger ace is called in all it need to do is not stupidly run on ice and charge to enemy base and wipe everything in it. i stopped playing because in a 4v4 game my base got charged by 4 tiger ace follow by vet 3 panther, P4, Ost. that is unstoppable in any game if enemy all called in tiger ace. and trooper training ability should be at least 1cp. i hate have initial engagement is a non vet conscript vs a vet 3 gren.
LOL love that video it was used for rome 2 launch too... well i just trolling in the community right now. i was a med skill player since COH1 and still is. since my last 2 games with my friends few days ago, where we got no cd AT nades in 1 game and 7 min T70 base rush another. i decide to take a break from this game and move on to BF4 and Xcom enemy within until some day it is not so buggy and less crap to deal with.
conscript AT nade have no cd. during a game last night in a 2v2 game at new map Rails & Metal. i didn't save the replay, so what happen is my teammate summoned Tiger Ace then we see the enemy 2-3 conscript squad constantly throw AT nade like rain of nades at Tiger and cripple it then more hits and destroyed engine at end. it is not like those squad throw 1 by 1, it is once their throwing animation end, they start throwing again. it happens to other tanks, P4, Ostwind, HT.. just those units didn't last long enough for us to realize it is constant AT nade fest until we see what they did to tiger ace tank
Tiger ace allows a player who falls badly behind to rapidly catch up and overtake enemy. I feel bad for people who played an even game for 45 minutes and then lose to this because they don't have enough AT.
not really a catch up because once it is summoned no more income so no point grab resources points anymore, it is either charge to enemy base to win or die. more like a last stand.
well me and my friend killed 2 of them in 2v2 matchs, both were very lucky because one time tank charged in a path close to our side where i planted 2 AT mine and a Demo charge to defend that flank, those explosives destroyed its engine, then it got killed by my teammate's B4 203mm cannon, they attempt to save that tank but my mortar and rockets, incinerating bomb keep on bombing that position to prevent it from repairing, take quite long though because we don't dare to move anything near it as its turret is fine and it killed two of my AT that try to fire at it like turkey shooting.
another time well the bad path-finding killed it because some how tank AI decide to drive on ice while there is only few trees on land in front of it, so it got send to bottom of water by a AT gun
I hope you dont' take offence since you've seem to have realised the folly of your ways. But, a huge problem is people like you though.. I have played the game since the beta. Bought the game after it came out and I've yet to buy any DLC yet out of pure principle. I'd love to get my hands on FHQ, Osttruppen, ASSgrens etc but will I budge own morals to get them? No. And neither should anyone else. If no one had bought the first DLC p2w commanders, they would have been forced to change their business model very rapidly but that wasn't the case was it. I blame both those who support the system with their purchases and those who decided p2w was a good model for a RTS that claims to be competitive.
Now a few people who does buy the DLC p2w commanders doesn't seem to realize that their decisions of accepting and supporting the P2W model and overpriced DLC are those who enabled this to happen.
i did know this i supported p2w business because i brought the product, because i wanted to try new commanders, new skills and then i realized those new commanders don't fit my play style much i still using the two soviet commander i brought but completely don't use my 2 german commanders, therefore the money of those two commanders is wasted. that is why i said i am kind of give up and will stop investing in this game. and prob leave this game soon as more and more p2w commanders showing up it felts it become those cheap browser base mmo.
i actually kind give up on relic right now. don't plan to purchase any DLC or commanders anymore and just use what i have. i brought the collector edition which is cost alot already then all 4 new commanders from last update. however since i am only choosing between 3 commanders per game, and only 2 out of those 4 commanders from last purchase is in my loadout, and my favort commanders are actually from base game lol. so i think i am good with commanders atm. unless there is a super sale i won't going to buy any new commanders from them.
well the MG damage and Arc is great just its setup time seems longer than MG42, but it kills infantry so fast...and also since this commander don't really use MU you can spam all the nades and mines you want. the mine is very cheap and very fast to build just do very little damage so spam it like there is nothing to do and put it protect flanks of your Super MG. as for tank trap i am not sure how it works out atm still new to this commander only played 2 games with it
