well japan landing force, i just want know what kind naval support gun they are using that able to land at outskirts of Moscow O.o also driving boats on land battles looks weird.
Schrecks are not broken because spammable mainline inf has access to them IMO. The problem is that they require almost zero micro.
Instead of changing upgrade costs or weapon stats, I would change the way you have to use them.
My idea:
Keep shrecks on volks (90 mu).
An upgraded squad doesn't get a panzerschreck as weapon that takes up a slot BUT as an ability.
- cooldown similar to PzFausts (perhaps slightly shorter)
- slightly higher range than PzFausts
- 100% accuracy when fired
- no muni cost since you have to upgrade them for every squad individually
That would effectively reduce the range of shrecks (something a lot of people have asked for because it is supposed to be a defensive weapon), remove annoying RNG, increase the reload time for shrecks AND add a little more required micro (no more a-move).
Basically, OKW would get buffed PzFausts that don't snare. But they still use shrecks so it's unique
you will prob need it able to 100% pen as it require cd now, volk's shreck is OKW main AT weapon as OKW AT gun is a joke especially for late game and OKW tanks are more expansive than its counter parts.
tiger ace, i only call it in when I have some advantage, not when i am struggle to stay alive. because if you will need all the MP you can get to keep fighting. that is the time tiger ace is the finisher for youself.
i say it need suppression, it is AI unit yet can't deal with blob. so is OKW flak HT, it can only suppress 1 unit at a time,also flak HT should have a fire while moving, but with crazy low acc (or half attack speed of stationary) and able to multiple suppress units that is close or lineup, since allied AA HT (SU and USF) can suppress all units in its firing directions, which is a great tool to anti volks blob.
tell me about it, in a 4v4 game today, 3 gardening mortar pits cover by a 17 pounder and 2 AT gun, and a HMG on both fuel and VP near it, can't even go in the mortar pit range until i got double LEFH to bomb them for 5 mins to destroy them. and my team VP is already at low hundreds and allied start sending their flood of tanks, all i can do is pak wall with HMG wall.
Alright, im really curious, to all the people that wants a japanese faction, how are they gonna defend themself against the german,soviet,allied stuff? Dont you think Relic will have to lower everything on the big allied,german stuff to balance it with japanese stuff? so tell me how you guys think balance will work with other factions if japanese is added

i think prob only up to some ok mid tanks, super cheap infantry so blob more, and support guns, infantry default with Banzai charge kind like Ohahh, but with receive accuracy debuff and immune to suppression. able to melee attack other infantry for great damage, infantry have sucide attacks to deal with tanks and buildings, and possible Calvary units, by commander skill have passive ambush camo and ability to build stealth bunker until it fire also commander with biochem weapons sqs,
compare to our COH2 april fool even, we got a picture, while war thunder actually have a incredible naval battle you can play with. if you haven't try it yet, give a shot, the naval battle is actually pretty fun to play.
if i remember correctly, even they can reload on move, they still become abandoned after getting shot while reloading. also while reloading it suffer -40% movement speed, it is quite dangerous for it, it is a risk you don't dare to take with a vet 5 Stumtiger. (maybe i am wrong i don't dare to use it when its near front lines.)
AVRE on other hand there is no worry during reload, I had a game during a failed push, my infantry retreated, my vet 2 panther got hit by AVRE once got to 1/3 HP while retreating (map is full of buidings so retreat quite slow) , the AVRE chase my panther to near my base, while taking fire from my panther and fire the 2nd shot to finish my panther off. and back to safety using buildings to cut my pak view and fire off another two shots during the retreat, to force off my infantry chase.
so my point of view is they are both ok, i am still using AVRE some times, right now most UKF don't use it, not really because it suck, it is because improve emplacement is too OP atm.
Unless playing vs noobs who're allergic to snipers, aggressive sniper play against Brits is suicide. I love the silent sniper battles in very intense 2v2s where each person wants to inflict as much bleed without getting counter sniped.
ya love that too. when both side sniper don't dare to fire because both know there is another sniper in the field close by.
as OH i usually go 1 HMG then double snipers once i see UKF now. the MP bleed helps alot so they can't get a blob up. but need play aggressive as sniper to keep them from building mortar pit or bofos
as OKW i see they spam bren with blob i go P2 to shoot them, if they blob with piat i mix pazerfuzilier and volks blob to counter blob.
