Thread: Build Orders for Soviet Industry17 Jun 2014, 11:02 AM Go for anything that is not manpower hungry. Cons and penals are going to drain MP. Snipers might be ok if you keep them alive. My two favorite is M3s, as you get the fuel back fast, they dont drain MP, and also try Maxims, as Maxims dont drain as much MP, they dont drain as much enemy manpower either, but you will have a T70 soon for that. That's literally the opposite of what rear echelon personnel are. No no no.. Just becuase you are Rear Echelon does not mean you do not still opperate as a soldier, first and foremost.. still even to this day. For example, my brother is a Mechanic in the British Army, this is a RE role... but he would still have the option to go out on patrols etc. And he is a trained Paratrooper as well, attached to 2 Para. So his main role is servicing the Paras vehicles, but he can fight along side them just the same. Virtually nobody in the army is not trained first and foremost to fight. In: Lobby

Thread: Teching and call ins. 12 Jun 2014, 16:12 PM There are definately situations where a KV1 is nice to have, simply because it can soak up a bit more damage. This fact gives them nice synergy with B4s because they can hold enemy troops a bit longer to give the B4 time to fire. In: COH2 Balance

You could face a maxim against a tiger and every bullet fired at the tiger counts as 'damage done' even though it does not penetrate of course. For this reason, the total 'damage done' by each player can be very skewed by players with many HMGs that fire at armoured targets. In: COH2 Balance

Thread: Teching and call ins. 10 Jun 2014, 13:25 PM The problem is that tecking to T3 does not come that much sooner than waiting for a Tiger or 34/85 in some situations, and if you wait the call in is much stronger. Relic made tecking more expensive to extend the the early game and use of light vehicles. Well what about reducing the cost to teck, but lowering the rate of fuel income? This would put a more defined gap between T3 and call ins, yet still preserve the extended early game. In: COH2 Balance
