In a match today I landed a PM82mm mortar right on a Ostheer vet 0 full health sniper and sure enough he lived. His health Bar was so low that I could barely see any blue. Sad thing is Soviet squad would be wiped in same situation. Especially if sniper LEIG's are on field
but what good is it when your 25% to 50% less effective as soon as a model dies. A 5th member would be cool
The whole point of LMG is that you retain whole DPS on single model while sniping enemy ones. This is the whole reason upgrades are good in comparison to units that relies on spread out damage across the whole squad.

"If you are talking about tech RUSH, we just take into account the quickest fuelwise way to get them. This means ignoring, ambulance, nades, bar/zook, AT nades, molotov, T2 OH. Medic (bunker and SU) doesn't have fuel cost attach to them so you discard them on the tech race.

Notes:
1-SU T3 is actually a T2.5 as it's mostly composed of a HT, a light tank and a light TD* (400hp). *It should had -20pen so it still hits medium tanks but not so much heavies .
2-T4 is actually Tier3 or Tier3.5 (if you consider artillery to be a bit higher on the tiering system). You get a crappy but spammable medium, a TD and indirect fire.
3-OH and Brits are the only with proper late game T4 vehicles.
4-While i didn't mention Brits, i consider they have a cheap teching fuelwise.
5-Both SU and OH, have way more manpower efficient choices if they go for T3 play into call ins. That's why you won't see T4 play. Timing (T34-76) n cost (PV), efficiency (Brummbar) n ease of use (Su85) and/or vulnerability if just relying on AT gun (Katy/PW) are the reasons.
No his point doest stand. he is abusing a bug. furthermore if you dont position your atht perfectly you risk that the damn thing fires on something that blocks its shot.
Not as much as before since the latest changes. It relies more on accuracy now than scatter shots/AoE. Which seems it had consequences on it's DPS
Luchs, FlakHT and FlakHQ changed into accuracy based attacks like centaur with less aoe than before.

I guess it's a bug which at this point everyone uses cause the way it works is part of the normal usage of the unit (same way a sandbag get ghosted if you have to move before finishing it).
1- I say use attack move cause it makes the unit not crap.
2- You tell me it will get AT nade due to going straight forward.
3- I correct you on how the unit behaves.
If this is too hard to understand, i'm saying that the unit needs it's bug fixed (deployment on the move), adjust it's DPS after changes and a small HP buff. I'm just giving people tips on how to use the unit.
This proves you know shit about this bug or the atht. if you use attack move the atht will charge into the nearest infantry squad and you cannot control it. Stop being a dumbass.
Let me teach you a couple of things:
1-Give move order to X point
2-Give attack move or attack ground order (this requires to be on weapon range)
3-Look, your Flak HT won't run towards the enemy. OMG what a dumbass i am!
Note: that a unit is only useable due to a bug is stupid.
The unit is not bad as much that todays meta doesn't require it. I do still think a small hp buff wouldn't hurt.
you can only compare it to flakpanzer not the other 4 you mentioned, indeed you can't even compare it with the flak panzer, you know why? flakpanzer (Ostwind) is a great unit with very excellent mobility, however Centuar moves too slowly almost like a heavy tank, so that is a wrong comparison you are making dude
