I'm surprised this thread hasn't been locked yet like Storm Elite's. The original poster has outstayed his welcome on the balance forums and should head to the tutorial sections to voice his rants instead.

Since i closed that other thread i'll answer.

-Other user made another thread not so long ago to complain about the usual Axis UP, Allies OP. Even with all the bias, the other thread which is still up had a point to discuss and it seemed some people manage to pull a proper conversation.

-Not everyone is online all days or able to respond. Different people/mods have different criteria. That been said, i saw the thread when it had like 3 comments and though, should i close it now or see how it evolves. Will people decypher through the rant and bias the message or will shitpost.

Will they ever nerf the oppressive faction that is OKW and especially its early game? It is literally toxic for newer players, so not surprised coh 2 is so dead nowadays especially on allied side. ALl of my friends have quit because of Sturmpios and A-move autowin nature of OKW, especially in lower elo since it is so easy to play and oppressive against anything but soviets if u play meta soviets since only crutch units Soviets work nowadays. sturmpio spam to Volk spam and having so much resources early is toxic. Will USF get buffed assengies aswell early on? Who ever thought of OKW design at Relic must have been dropped on their head as a child

You are free from opening another thread to discuss OKW opening strength if you refrain from the personal anecdotal circumstances, insults to developers and instead make use of game stats/facts rather than personal venting rants and vocabulary as "OKW is toxic".

So pop cap is the ONLY thing that matters and since weapons don't have pop cap they should all perform the same.... Right?

They all shoot bullets, therefore they should all perform the same.

Assault Grenadier, Volksgrenadier and Pioneer SMGs are utterly useless, while Allied SMGs are extremely deadly -- not only because of the weapons themselves (Axis SMGs only deal damage in melee range) but also because of the units wielding them (no Axis units get a received accuracy buff when they receive their SMGs, making it impossible to use them as assault troops).

So stats-wise, Allied SMGs have higher DPS and actually work beyond melee range, making them viable, while Axis SMGs have terrible DPS and only work in melee range, making them unviable.

The only unit worthy of mention there is Assault Grenadiers. Not because of damage, but that they fall flat in utility after the first 5 mins of the game. Which reminds me of several other allied units with SMGs as well.
Volks SMG would see use if they didn't get access to STG which are way stronger, even with all the utility they get.
Assault Grens will never be a force to be reckon with if they are CP0. Same problem as Assault Engis.

Let's ignore plenty of SMG non ever seen units because they are allied and OP only plays Axis at 4 rank digit...

1-Complains about Pios, even though at 200mp category, they are the best starting engineer in the game. Compare it to RET/CE. RE coming later with stens are still not doing nothing worth mentioning.

2-What are grease guns and what's the point on using a vet 0 vehicle crew.

3-What are Partisans, Assault Guards, Assault Engineers.

The problem with SMGs, is that the moment they are GOOD, you are gonna complain way harder because now the game revolves around running around the map and immediately rushing below 10 range with blobs.

Good luck losing every engagement with an HMG because you clicked on empty ground and caused the HMG squad to tear down instead of retargeting.

Attack move command. It won't redeploy if you miss clicking the squad.
