Even with gren support, and firing from max range, a squad of conscripts despite under fire from the 42 with the Usain bolt oorah were able to avoid being supressed (forget pinning), managed to get behind the 42 and decrew in seconds with molotov. Maxim mean time has almost same supression , better DPS , WAY faster setup/packup time and 6 men squads. Good job Relic, the russian whiners moaned so much that mg42 is now opposite of what it was ... useless. I bet next unit we will see nerfed is Elephant because its too cheap and hampers the very hard skill su85 strategy .... Adapt,things are balanced now,so no more instant pin for you...Hint:Use the new Grenadiers,they are pretty decent,don't spearhead with MG42 anymore In: COH2 Balance

Germans have a very good unit called Grenadiers,you should try using them once in a while,they're very good,they have good accuracy from distance,and can shoot Panzerfausts and Rifle grenades,and are even upgradeable with a Lightmachinegun... On a serious note now,STOP USING MG42 AS A SPEARHEAD UNIT...it's called SUPPORT WEAPON TEAM for a reason... So you want to add 6 man to an MG42,which has a wider arc and better surpression...I wonder why did Relic did not recruit you? In: COH2 Balance

Thats how much value we see in the munition sink artillery and the two extra crewmembers who like to get stuck behind a tree and stop the gun from firing (yes indeed, weapon teams can't fire if the groupies that do nothing but wait for the users to get killed aren't happily manhugging each other behind the gun). Id take +2 models and Barrage, over 30% RoF, any day. I would take the Pak's RoF any day,so it's more a matter of personal choice I guess In: COH2 Balance
