Thread: top 200 play turns out its blobs snipers or cheese30 Aug 2014, 02:09 AM So I finally made it into top 200 as okw and Russians only to realise that the majority of the players in this bracket just use the cheapest tactics to win. I have literally given up playing 1v1 now because its just so lame and boring. Play as okw 1st 2 games vs usa and its exactly the same each time struggle to control a ridiculous blob that steamrolls everything you have into easy 8 spam. sometimes there were like 6-7 squads just rolling around, no attempt to cap the map who needs fuel and ammo when I can just destroy all your units one by one then bother to cap. lack of mg does not help kubel is a pos. Play next few games vs soviets and its even lamer every time the exact same, snipers + m3 into guards and call ins. One guy had 3 snipers in one game its just bs what can you do? the kubel is a piece of shit and gets killed by m3 that protects the sniper and he can have two snipers an m3 flamer and some cons by the time you get your first shreck squad, the shreks always fucking miss or blow up on a fucking wall or tree branch while the snipers just eat you alive. Soviet player can just use the map to avoid your units and pick them of one by one with the snipers try to rush the snipers and he has guards or m3. Once again even if you hold on then comes the ISU or 85/s. I played some games as soviets and it was the same story just a massive fucking blob rolling round the map. Maybe I'm not used to it so yes maybe a little L2P but still seriously this is so lame. Am I wrong is it fun playing like this? In: COH2 Gameplay

Thread: Urban Breakout Protoype commander23 Jul 2014, 20:27 PM I also had this commander, the infantry use same weapon as agrens it seems, I found them really useful as they have a smoke nade that can use to close distance but unfortunately no normal grenade if they had one they would be decent. FHT is FHT... KT is basically just a normal KT with the abilities listed, I used the nebel barrage, its basically like the ostheer light arty barrage on an area the size of the old katyusha circle ~= to usa base size. The rockets seemed to fall in 3 salvos randomly. Best thing is you can call in the KT for only 200 fuel without needing any trucks. In: Lobby
Thread: M3s unbeatable3 Jun 2014, 08:10 AM I also find M3 sniper/guard spam is pretty much all I face these days. In 2v2 its worse, one guy spams T2 while one spams M3's or/and snipers->guards. I played a game yesterday where one guy only I repeat only built maxims and zis then ISU and the other only built snipers and m'3s then T34/85 call in. Make M3 take longer to repair and possibly make it so units take 1 sec to get in and out. This would make it more risky for squads inside instead of just tanking fasusts with flame pio's/penals because you know you can kill the grens drain the munis and repair. For the T2 spam and FIX THE F*****G NEBEL reduce maxim and Zis crew to 5 man or increase dmg buff for small arms serious these units are good enough without the extra durability and when flanked take way longer to kill than the Pak or MG. Also fix the call in meta every 1v1 is tiger vs t34/85 the winner of this battle wins the game in most instances. In: COH2 Balance

Every Game T2 spam ->ISU get ele to counter and they send waves of zis guns which keep it at bay allowing ISU to cover VP. German T4 is literally not worth building atm In: COH2 Balance

A world ending blast that can one-shot the most expensive armored vehicles whithout a chance for escape? No way. The 50 kg Stuka bomb blamed by all soviet fanboys still makes a sound and if you are not deaf you can dodge. But dodge a B-4 projectile, I dare you. Actually B-4 doesn't one shot any *heavy* armor and has wild inaccuracy. If you use the target vehicle then yes its got good accuracy but this ability costs ~= dive bomb so I don't see the problem, the vet 1 ability it gets is a vet ability so should be decent but admittedly is poorly designed atm as it makes its other ability pointless. The B4 is easily killed by any off map and usually, like most arty, ends up as a waste of MP. It would be nice to see it in some more doctrines though as I like to try and make it work. The KV-2 is the sole reason I play industry and I would also like to see this in another commander. In: COH2 Gameplay

You must give arguments why maxim spam is not a problem show …i would say nearly all your counters are not effective. Let start with the mortar. Its completely rng dependant and if you say your strat should not resolve around luck. The sniper will take a full 30 seconds to bring a maxim to 1 man force a retreat. that is a long time not to mention you are using a very frail unit and one fuck up and you can say goodbye to your 360 mp investment. The HT strat works provided he doesn't have AT or guards. …the biggest issue with the maxim is how cheap it is to reinforce. even if you hit with riflenade or a sniper or mortar you virtually cause no mp damage what so ever. lets stop this now?
