Thread: Mechanized Assault big impact early game?27 Sep 2013, 04:09 AM So when soviets were using the clown car cheese, it was so bad that all Ostheer players wanted the the M3 to be nerfed. Now, Ostheer gets Assgrens and all of a sudden, it's the counter against that and totally fine. I always hated the clown car start, but now I pretty much have to go for that build. Seriously, what the hell? At least Ostheer has to sacrifice valuable munitions to get them now... In: COH2 Balance

More or less... the new ostheer halftrack actually is very well armored against small arms fire. Maybe a bit too much? Are there any stats out yet, regarding the newly implemented units? We were as clear as possible about the change and what it included and did our best to let everyone know. It's unfortunate that people missed it and we're sorry if you did. To be honest, that was not the problem for me. I knew very well of the changes made to the preorder collectors edition. It was, like you said, posted all over the place. My concern lies within it's value. And i think I speak for more than just myself on this one. I do not expect free commanders or other DLC for the rest of my life just for owning the DCE. A little more bang for my buck, though. See, you never defined the ToW DLC to be split in two halves. And this is the point. DCE should get the whole pack with both factions, fairness wise. It's a pain in the ass to play against the Assault grenadiers. I went for the Guard Rifle Combined Arms to try out the PPSh's. They do not work very well. M3 with flamers tore them up and forced retreat upon them. I have to say that the new call in halftrack takes a good punch. It took my guards rifle squad plenty of hits to take it down. The commander is definitely beatable with the common commmanders. Just prepare yourself for alot of spamming from the player using this commander. Heck, they even spammed tigers in the end. But thats where artillery and Su-85's hit hard. We won the game 25-0 after being dominated throughout the midgame. In: Strategy Desk

The ones that can't be decapped, that create instantly with one click, heal your troops and provide an aura that makes conscripts unbeatable by anything except Armour??? Try spamming a few of them in key areas in 2v2 and I guarentee you will never lose a game. Now why would someone do that? This game could use a little more fair play from the side of the community. Somethings broken? Don't abuse... In: COH2 Balance
