It's a rng machine. I'd welcome more accuracy, higher rate of fire - less damage change. Or something similar.
I had 120 mortar wining games for me and being 400 mp waste. Also is not a good unit on all maps. Sometimes it's better to go for a regular one.
Pretty much sums up my experience with it. It's one of those units with very inconsistant performance.
Imo the precision shot is op though. |
Hi guys I'm just starting out in the 1v1 mode not done much and as you guys know this is a different game play, so all the would be killers out there, any tips thoughts on how best to play?
The best thing to do is play some games and then provide us some replays, so we can give you tailored feedback. |
Just for the record, sturmpionierre translates into assault engineers, and besides that, they were trained both in combat and engineering. Germans knew they had so few men that some had to fulfill multiple roles at once. This is why they are quite dangerous with their mp44's, and should be treated as a threat even without that vet5.
That's not entirely correct. A Pioneer's task is to provide freedom of movement to the unit he's attached to, which he achieves by different means. Depending on the branch they serve in, they build bridges, fieldfortifications, clear minefields etc. For example Panzerpioneers.
Sturmpioneers in the german army however, were tasked with the clearing of bunkers, fortifications, buildings, creating of bridgeheads etc. For that task they were usually equipped with, machinepistols, assaultrifles, flamethrowers and explosives. Their number grew more and more once closequartercombat began to gain importance. So actually they took e very offensive, aggressive role and life expectancy was usually not very high amongst them.
So the way they ar represented in the game as some is only partly correct.

Yes, but why only OKW has exciting units? Flak truck, Stuka zu fuss, Luchs, Sturmtiger, Jadgtiger, King Tiger... All of these are amazing units, very rare, very powerful and they give you a lot of fun when using them. They are different, highly specialized, sometimes OP as garden but the joy is unmeasurable.
On the other hand US Forces have boring Sherman, boring Scott, boring Stuart... Shermans, Shermans all day long.
Where is Pershing? Super Pershing( ), Hellcat, Calliope?
Funny fact: Only 12 game verions of flak truck were made, 18 Sturmtiger, 137 Luchs, wonder about stuka zu fuss.. Can't find... 79 Jadgtiger, 44 Ostwinds. Only one of them is doctrinal (Ostwind is non doc for Ost).
On the other hand we have over 2000 Pershings, 25 Super Pershings and 27 M26E5 Pershing with 102-279mm armor. I guess Calliope and Pershing would provide a lot of fun like OKW units.
320HP. AA truck, T70 and Stuart also have 320 but hey! They don't have smoke.
For God's sake then go play OKW or Ostheer! What's holding you back?
More call-ins? You do know that they are a big part of the current boring meta/balance issue right?

With t1 best bet is to either rush it with at-nade cons or to use guards. The use of guards is trickier, don't expect them to destroy it outright. Use them to hold it at bay until an at-gun or heavier stuff is availabe. |
I hate units with some many bullets per burst.
Correct me if I'm wrong but I think there is historical mistake in game or look at last sentence.
We have 251/17 flak, right? Well, this version was ONLY AA unit.
In game we have version made for Luftwafe (you can figure this out thanks to opening sides ).
First version was unable to engage infantry with main gun, only MG.
Version for Luftwafe was able to attack ground objects.
But there is one problem. Only 11-15 were made!
So I'm asking, how the hell such rare unit gets into game?!
Same for Luchs (143) and in III 1945 there were less than 200 of PzII (not Luchs) so we can guess than number of Luchs at that time was a way under 100.
What's more, it was a scout unit (sneaky mode) but in game we have infantry-terminator.
Sturmtiger, Ostwid... Someone in Relic's HQ must love Nazis units...
Andy why exactly should this gun be unable to shoot at groundtargets? Highexplosive fragmentation rounds are pretty nasty vs soft targets.
What else would you like to have? a faction that consists of worn down infanftry, a few trucks and horses, some at-guns, p4 stug and panther exclusively? Not exactly fun to play...
It's a game get over it. |
Apart from the setup on the move bug I think it's fine. Afaik smoke is it's vet1 ability no? maybe that should cost ammo too (didn't notice that it's free). |
Did you just call our most Bearific President stupid?
If he isn't trolling, then yes I did. |
- It is war. Units die.
- The B4 operates on gold ammo. At 600 MP, +time to Vet 1, +Gold ammo, +The limitless counters I consider this unit balanced.
- A players laziness to change and adapt to the battlefield conditions does not mean a unit is OP.
- See a Recon plane? Move your expensive units.
Not sure if just stupid or trolling...

And no having me and Aussie play against eachother with B-4 would serve no purpose and we (I atleast) won't waste a huge amount of gametime by trying to prove a point, also when I play axis against aussie, I will loose, when I play allies with B-4 against aussie, I will loose. He is a much better player than me and the B-4 won't save my behind against him.
No no you got me wrong. You two guys team up and go automatch as Axis without using any Stukadive+Recon Commanders so you can show us how to counterplay B-4 strategies performed by an enemy team of about equal skill.
