No, it's pointless to use stugs vs mark target. They go down too easy. A p4 can lose to a t34 with mark target on and a stug has less health than a p4, so why do people expect this to turn out well from the stug?

if you look closely at the german howitzer there is a green Shield, and its possible that this is creating a cover for the crew allowing them to take less damage. im not sure how the modifers are in coh 2 vs green cover for grenades
a flanked grenade throw might have given a different result, and additionally: shock grenades are not super strong
i had a link to a supposed map hack program removed from the shoutbox. I'm not upset about it being removed. there was a especially funny review at the review section of the program that a lot of players would have found funny though
but it should be made common knowledge that these type of programs exist, and it should be talked about. hushing it Down will perhaps stop a few persons from discovering and using it but it will not help raise awareness about the possibility of cheats used in the game. which creates zero incentive for relic/sega to attempt to fix it. If People are not complaining, then why should they do anything.
especially the map hack type of cheat is not hard to make a case for in many scenarios.
People who are psychic in the fog of war over time.. they simply are suspect.
One m8 was coming, not potentially 4. If you watch the recent game of stephen vs barton (top wubbed replay 1v1 right now) you can see that during one point of the game, with barton holding less than half of the map, he simply could have forced his hand and destroyed stephen, even with stephen having close to maximum amount of AT out for the amount of time passed ingame.
Knowing how stupid Relic is at fixing things, they will make this commander useless. There are so many great options available to them instead of whatever they will probably do. Like making it a 2 cp conversion ability like OStheer has, making it a fuel decrease t34s only, etc. Heavy t34 play is fun and micro intensive and it's just not what you see from the abusive industry plares.
Just some thoughts from a long time player! I remember facing EXIT guys in a 2v2 tournament a long time ago, but I can't remember the name of the player.
