The matchmaking is searching enemies with the ranked position you got with the army you are searching with.
That is the reason you have to do 10 games with every single army before you get ranked, to see, how your skill lvl fits to the army.
If there is no one close to your ranked position the search expands onto a wider ranked area. That could therotically combine position 1 and position 100000 if there would be no other player online.
From time to time I also get ranked with some guys around pos. 1000, if you are searching at times in which no normaly person plays CoH2.
And nevermind about the rank if you dont want to be THE GUY in CoH2. Play the game for fun and enjoy it as long as possible. If you play with this in your mind your achive will be a good ranked position

Füsiliere do very well vs Rifles even with vet and flamer, just keep them alive to earn veterancy and keep them onto mid to long range make use of the sturmoffizier ability to force single enemy squads to retreat (with the most vet, the most HP, etc) and ye, Flak HT is a pretty good counter, you just have to support it with AT (Volx with schrecks are a good support) In: OKW Strategies |

Against good player you have to get a good flank to kill his snipers. A Flak HT rush maybe pushs him a little bit back, but it wont break his neck. As well that you cant chase snipers with a Flak HT, because of the set up time of 5 seconds. Another good counter is the stuka, which you already got in the same building like the Flak HT. If you cant stop the sniper with these units, go and produce a Stuka. And last but not least, if you got 2 Füsiliere with G43 and a Sturmoffizier in the background they are able to shoot the sniper down, before the second sniper shell appears. Fallschirmjäger is also an opportunity, but i wouldnt choose a whole doctrine, just to counter an early soviet strat. On the one hand, if you get them it's most of the time gg, but if not and you arent used to play that doctrine, it's gg for you In: OKW Strategies |

The Sturmoffizier gives your units an amazing buff, so that they are going to fight harder. Many OKW players so choose to "blob" their units, trough this way all of them get the offensive buff. The Balance against this amazing blob comes trough that feature. So if you face a heavy OKW blob with a Sturmoffizier, focus him and if you kill just the model of the sturmoffizier all units around him (area of round about 10 metres) will retreat. As OKW its really important to keep him in second line, but close enough to the front, that most of your units get this buff. In mid and late game it can get really intense micro and you have to train to use him in a right way! Like Ohme mentioned before: With double US: - The first player is going onto a fast Lieutenant, after he build his 3rd Riflemen Squad. - After this he is going to get a AA Halftrack as fast as possbile and use it in secoond line to avoid to get killed ba a fast puma or Pak. Dont worry, it will still be able to pin down the enemy and to deal a good amount of damage. - After he got his AA Halftrack (and maybe if he prefer a Ambulance), he is going onto a fast Major to provide access to the mighty M36Jackson Tank Destroyer, one of the best on field Tankhunter. After this you can Adapt your strat. to the enemies playstyle - He expands his HQ to get access to the Bazooka and equips some Squads with them. - The scond player saves onto a Captain after his 3rd Rfilemen Squad. - He tries to rush out a Stuart Tank and after this he builds some AT guns to get a good amount of AT for the team The first player is going onto the Armor Company, so that he got access to the cheap M10 tankhunter as well or Airborne Company, because he saves enough ammunition to provide some heavy P47 Attacks and the second one chooses the Infantry Company, because he saves a lot of fuel which he can invest into the Priest Call-In and he can even equip his Rilfes with Browning 1919er.
