My favortie commander with penal strat is the Urban defense doctrine, 45mm ATG is simply fantastic vs SC + HT and Stug. Penal I think will win mostly with vanilla gren but MG42 gren just slaughter these guys, any help here? |

The problem with howitzers I find is that they are too expensive. Who would be floating 600 mp late game and want to invest in a howitzer when you can get 2-3 more infantry squads or tanks? Imo put a fuel tag onto the howitzer like in coh1 and reduce the manpower cost. Say about 450 manpower and 75 fuel. I don't mind if bombing strikes can kill it in one shot. If you let them get sight on the howitzer it's your fault. This happened in coh1 as well.
In COH1, the only things that 1 shot arty is V2 from Terror or Rocket Barrage from Defensive and both abilities come way later than arty and V2 has a crazy cooldown, not like COH2 where u can always have Stuka/IL-2 when the arty gets built. Simply put, arty sucks because commander design sucks. |
Indirect weapons don't target entities, but ground, therefore no accuracy bonus other then the scatter on range one applies.
If you want to be deadly and accurate with pwerfer and katy, drive them closer.
At vet2 they are very much usable at max range.
The problem is keeping them alive till they reach vet 2. Driving a Kat near the engagement area is like asking for a flanking Puma or 222 to kill it. 222 can kill a Kat at 1 burst, puma with 3 shots. |
Give me dem Hetzer! |
Will the remastered Homeworld be supported by Steam? (It's AOE2 all over again). |
222 + Puma just rape this strat. Believe me, T1 is good only for sniper, anything else is just MP sink which is better for cons. |
Why does this matter when you can pack up your hmg instantly and redeploy under 2 seconds against an enemy that doesn't have oorah? in most cases the larger arch is useless. if you use a hmg you need to identify flanking routes and cut-off points. and very simply put the maxim can just as easily cut of any point in the 1vs1 map as mg42. and has better suppression to boot.
Because due to AI design, Maxim crew can not pivot the gun around its location, usually when I want to relocate Maxim, it's will unpack the gun, spin it around in a semi circle than unpack it, which increase its reposition time significantly, Maxim works best when there is a cons duking out with gren than a maxim run in to suppress them from a far. MG 42 has better range + better cons of fire, which is of utmost importance in defensive play. 1 Gren + 1 MG can beat 3 cons from the front, while the same can not be said for maxim. |
Most - but not all - PC games available on GreenManGaming provide you with a CD Key which you register in Steam. You then download and play the game through Steam as you would if you purchased it on Steam. You can find out for sure whether a purchase is a Steam game or not on the game's page. It will tell you any external platform it is hosted on, including Steam, uPlay, or Origin.
CoH2 is a Steamworks game, so all CD keys and products you buy around the internet relating to it will register on Steam. You cannot use GMG credit to buy games on the Steam Store itself, and you cannot use Steam Credit to buy games from GMG.
If you require clarification let me know.
So this code can not be used to purchase through Steam? |
In team game, some one needs to build at least 3 M-42 45mm ATG just to deal with these guys. In 1v1, pray he hit a mine or there's not much you can do against a decent micro puma. Puma + Ostwind = crazy |
