Okay, I get what you're saying and I certainly see where you're coming from.
I think in regards to the Collector's Edition and the pre-order bonuses we've learned a lot from this experience and will be handling them differently in the future. At the very least we're going to try not to have our publisher go bankrupt right before launch, which didn't help.

yes those are the definitions of the words collector and collection. that doesnt change the fact that people misinterpreted what they bought. i guess maybe relic could have been clearer, but i read what the CE included and never expected free DLC forever. it came with skins, a faceplate, and 6 more commanders than the preorder. i knew that and chose not to buy it.
the term "collectors edition" is used very frequently for video games. it should never be interpreted as "all DLC is free forever" unless it explicitly says so. it typically gives some in game bonuses and silly things like an art book, a soundtrack, or other physical items.

this might cause some confusion because it looks like it was posted when relic was still under THQ. for example, the tiered pre order bonuses no longer existed once sega took over
the game might have changed producer or publisher. the promise cant be changed. its a buyer contract. i dont know about american laws, but buyers are protected from stuff like this.
you basically comercialized a collector version and now that sega bought it changed it for a not so collector. and took out the part that made it collector while keeping the ads and the campaing the same. it sure starts sounding like a scam to me.

Unless, you were promised something, I don't see how you can reasonably expect to receive it and simply assuming what was agreed upon based on what you want is not reasonable.

as russians you have to go for light vehicles. m3 and m5 with flamers and t70. you have to use horra to escape the assault grenadiers. penal batalions to flame them, and overall be were they arent. is what i have heard. i have yet to play a match against them. |

How many hours of gameplay does one expect for 60 dollars? What is the average amount of hours that a game typically yields?
How many for 100? If you pay 100 dollars once, how much content should you get for free, forever? I think it would be nice, and no skin off Relic's nose if they did occasionally give the people who paid the premium, perks over the years, and it does sound like the initial 100 dollar package was somewhat lackluster in the end, so maybe they can do something like that.
I haven't bought any extra content yet, but I intend to, I'm just not even close to delving into all the commanders I have access to now. The cool thing is that whether I play them or not, I get to play against them, which in itself changes my gaming experience, broadens it, gives me more things to consider, new ways to play if just in how I respond.
As for pay-to-win, that is simply a matter of balance.
