Why does point blank cover not exist? It seems like it should be reduced but not 100% zeroed |
I talked to a programmer and he said you were completely disconnected from the server for some reason. Are you having any Internet connection problems?
I'm not playing any mods. I am playing on university internet though. Ethernet yes but it can still drop. I guess it's my college >> |
I keep running into the problem of the machinegun just setting up in green cover and shooting me out of the building |
Sync erros are quickly becoming a way of life for me
Crash Report #1265407 if that helps |
My experience is that the 222 is quite adequate at killing infantry. And since it cannot (really) be harmed by infantry, it has an extreme shock value.
If you do not already have enough fuel for a stuart/aec, the shock value + spammability might be enough to actually close the game right there The 2nd 222 follows the first pretty quickly and the 3rd isn't far behind. So you keep all your units together right? (so you blob....) MG42 pins everything. Spread out and the 222s overwhelm individual zookers. Your only hope is to play fuel denial.
I need to reiterate: The shock value of multiple 222s when your AT is light is almost enough to close the game. You cannot cap the other side. You cannot go their his cutoff. If you don't already have enough fuel, you cannot wait for Stuart/AEC because they will hit your cutoff. |
If UKF get an anti snare why can't OKW get a reliable snare as well? Nobody seemed to advocate this when the AEC was running rampant. Also adding an AT nade to UKF changes the entire dynamic on how you fight this faction
They would have AT snares, Comets, Fireflies, best AT gun in the game argueably, and a 17pounder non-doctrinal. Nobody has this combination. OKW have strong tanks, heavy tanks, but only doctrinal snares. Where as Soviets and OST have their own snares but they can't pump out tanks that are as crazy...
UKF should never get an AT Snare, if they are having problems specifically with the 222 then its the 222 that is the problem. Giving AT nades has a huge ripple effect. Focus this on the 222, not an overaching army change.
If mills bombs are too pricey, lower them but don't include an extra free name... SU pays for both as well. It's all about teching, timing, and reward for risk. Mills bombs are awesome grenades, but if you want it all its going to delay your first tank which UKF can do given they have AEC, Sniper, and AT guns.
OKW don't need a fucking snare. You have laser guided shreks |
How do I deal with 222 spam? At 15 fuel a pop it's quite possible for 3 of these things to come out very fast, long before stuart or AEC. Small arms doesn't do much to them. By the time stuart comes out, there's enough to simply kill it outright. AEC seems to just barely come in time that if you might have a chance. |
My problem with the m26 runs like this: I can't get one
Srs. I have to pull out a sherman or jackson, which sets me back, which delays the pershing, which neccessitates another sherman/jackson, ect
I can try to stall yes and I might succeed but then the M26 has to mount my comeback. And it ain't KT good enough |
I've heard the Tulip always misses and is very expensive. Is this no longer the case? |
Which is a better choice against late game axis armor, or should they be used in tandem?
Comet seems to be slightly but meaningfully weaker than panther, but a piat or some arty can tip the scales. The firefly I've heard isn't too great because slow ROF and it's useless against INF. The shrekblob is a serious consideration too. I can have 3 fireflies for 2 panthers or match comet for panther.
So theory crafters, which is the better tank to select? (side note: churchill is useless enough against tanks and expensive enough that putting one in front of a wall of fireflies just isn't efficient) |
