All players will be flown and hosted at a variety of extremely expensive downtown Vancouver hotels, with the matches being played live ON STAGE in front of a gigantic audience at the Vancouver convention centre.
DJ Breaking Brad will be playing a set for the Finals afterparty, admission included with 3 day ESL LAN pass.
Prize pool of $20k to be distributed between top 4 teams.
Additionally, a 1v1 and 2v2 tournament will be taking place on premises, with cash prize of $200, because they are not as exciting or balanced or strategic, as the community has so kindly told us.
Special guest Dbmb will be present to give a speech in the opening ceremonies on why it is bad to make multiple accounts and pretend to not be the same map hacking piece of shit Razh from 2014, as part of a promotional event for his new remedial book (as part of reparations for the illicit fame and victory gained in Star Crossed Kings) "Panzers, Guards, and Maphacks: How I became the saltiest piece of shit scumbag in the community."

ML-20, and for that matter, any other static battery counterplay is done through doctrinal picks. You see stuka or il 2 precision in the enemy loadout? Wait before going artillery.
Picking AS has no counterplay for OKW trucks. You are literally forced to not build CORE tech structures in advantageous positions (and if you give me that dumb bullshit about building it in the base, then why does the mech hq have a forward retreat point?).

It needs to do a lot less damage to OKW trucks. No ability by itself should one hit kill a tech structure.

I always thought that abandoning as an RNG mechanic was silly.
If there were certain criteria that made abandoning a tank guarantees and was a well designed core part of the game id be all for it. |
There are plenty ways of getting consant vision without reaviling it to the enemy for zeroing, at least in 2v2.
Assault arty is RNG bases. Sometimes it gives just somke, sometimes it kills everything in the area.
So what about other 1-click wipe abilities?
ML-20/B4 - dive bomb.
Pak43/LeFH - IL-2
Incendiary - emplacement
If you put med far away, you get huge advantage over your enemy and every advatange must have some weak point.
Are those units non doctrinal tech structures? No? Then wow, I guess maybe comparing them to trucks is dishonest.

The barrage from Breakthrough wrecks everything in the area.
Lol no it doesn't. At best, it forces a retreat and gives a good cloud of smoke.
Barrage from fortifications is great, much stronger than Air Supremacy but it requires vision.
For example, AS can bring down KT and JT to half health.
Zeroing can kill them both.
Nothing can survive Zeroing if you have vision.
And are you using those abilities on OKW trucks?
No one cares how AS affects tanks. The entire problem is trucks.

One is a one click forget ability. The other requires constant LOS and isnt going to be used on base structures.
